Spent almost an hour with an employee at my home so he could gather information for a water heater and a new air exchanger. Waited weeks for the estimate. Got not. Called and was transferred to another sales person. Waited weeks for the estimate. Got none. Finally called and was transferred to a third person last week. Still nothing. I was prepared to spend around $5000 for this work but I guess they don't need the money. At a minimum, if you can't keep employees due to Covid, don't string potential clients along and waste their time. Just tell them you can't do the work.

We are a local general contract who was referred to centraire for a new construction comerical project. Unforuntlay we had a poor experience throughout the whole project and would not reccomend them. We struggled with minimal communication, lack of qulity work from their workers on site, delayed on their work due to not showing up, mishaps even after running thorugh things with them and much more.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness, Value Do not use this company! The job was a simple toilet fix. The technician left for 35 minutes to get a basic part that should have been in the van. I got charged for the trip plus 35 minutes of the huge plumbers rate.

I was able to talk to a representative on the phone within a minute or so. They came out that morning well within the promised window. The tech understood the problem and got the correct part quickly. I will certainly call Centraire again! Thanks!

Nice guy doing the work, but when I got the bill, I understood why he was so happy. 15 minutes of actual work for $350. I had some ductwork that had come apart. It needed two brackets from the shop that he conveniently had to go back to the office to get. Charged me all the drive time back and forth. I would think in that big truck of parts they would carry a couple of brackets. He also used some tape. I needed their expertise, but expensive.

Bought a top of the line Carrier however, 10 years later the A/C is not cooling. The tech came out when I called and found that the system had a leak in evaporator coil and low on coolant. They suggested it was over a year out of warranty, but the reality is it was right at the 10 year Carrier warranty which they did not divulge. Called the owner and asked for help in covering coil replacement on warranty and never heard back. Now forced to open a case with Carrier to get assistance. Seems like they were more interested in getting paid than standing by their work even with the mfg warranty. Thanks Centraire.
