My toilet needed a new handle and flapper mechanism. Also, the shut off valve leaked. The parts for these fixers are inexpensive. I estimate about 30 minutes of work. Yet they asked over $600 for the repairs. This was too expensive. I paid the "visit fee" and asked them to leave. The only positives were the quick and courteous response to my call.

No one enjoys spending money on a new water heater. It never goes out at a convenient time. We were happy we chose Mike Williams Plumbing. From our first contact, we were given a time line. An appt was made. Josh & Kendall did a good job of explaining the issue. They also gave us a choice of repair or new with pricing for both. Explanations were concise & clear. We chose to go with new as our water heater was already 11 years old.
It had to fit in a very limited space. They made sure it did & fit it in perfectly. They left the space cleaner than when they arrived. Professional & pleasant throughout. Thank you gentlemen for a job well done.

Great Service! Very fast and responsive! We have a few rental properties in the area so repairs are always a bit tricky when scheduling, especially living out of state. Our tech was George and he was such a pleasure to speak with on the phone. Job was done quickly and tenants spoke highly of him! Mike Williams Plumbing, Heating and Air will definitely be my go to plumber for the Decatur Area! Thank you!

Do not use this company. They scam older folks by overcharging and advising that HVAC units need replaced even if they're working fine. My brother is 72 and handicapped. He called MW to do a basic cleaning of his HVAC unit. They came out an gave him an estimate of $750 to clean the furnace! They guy said since it cost so much my brother might as well replace it instead! It was only 10 yrs old! Thankfully he asked me before paying or replacing it!
I have since learned from the owner of another HVAC service company that has hired former MW techs that MW gives their techs scripts to use to scam older folks! DO NOT USE MW AND WARN OLDER FOLKS TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Guy was at my house for like 10 minutes. Charged $99 for the visit. Then he told me I needed a fan motor and quoted me $1200. I found the motor for $150 and another company charged me $75 to install. People at Mike William's were nice but they charge double what others charge.
