Joe and Patty are the best. They truly try helping their clients before immediately start selling this and that. We previously had a new system installed at our townhouse and loved the experience. Fast forward to us moving into our new house, we had issues with the AC only blowing air; did not get any cold coming out. We contacted a competitor who immediately told us we needed to replace the whole system. Fearing this was the case, we decided to get a second opinion by West Coast Energy due to our experience before. Joe came out and explained to me that he would do a pressure test to see where a possible leak may be coming before thinking about what route to go. Luckily it was only the condenser that was an issue but Joe did price us out multiple options from just replacing the condenser to replacing the whole unit.

We decided to go with just replacing the unit due to just buying our new house and wanted to save alittle. If it wasn't for West Coast Energy, we wouldn't of had that option and would of replaced the whole unit. This is a great company and I would recommend to anyone to Atleast give them a chance even if it's just a quote.

I rely on Yelp reviews, so here is mine. I needed to replace my Mom house's HVAC system. Got West Coast Energy's (WCE) contact details from my 55+ community's Referral List. Thank God! Got 3 quotations from 3 licensed HVAC contractors including WCE, and one was thru Home Depot. I decided to go w/ WCE not only because of $$ consideration, but also because I found WCE's senior personnel to be very strightforward to deal with during his initial cost-estimating visit.

One of the Contractor actually gave me quite deceiving info, and as the result his estimate was very high. WCE's response was prompt, they took good care of the house during their work, covered the floor carefully & cleaned up after the job is done. The installation took 1 day. So far. so good. Highly recommend WCE for HVAC works.

We've been using West Coast Energy for ten plus years. We use their annual a/c maintenance servicing, which we strongly recommend. And we have also used them for the rare intermittent repair. Every experience with this company has been pleasant and we know we've been treated respectfully and fairly. Patty in the front office makes us feel that our job is important to them and she takes the time to really listen to our description of the problem and Makes sure the right tech is sent to the house to complete the job. If you are looking for a company that cares and treats you fairly, give West Coast and try. You won't be disappointed.

I had a great experience with West Coast Energy. They installed a condenser, high-efficiency furnace, thermostat, a new breaker, and repaired some existing duct. They showed up on time, completed the work as promised, and followed-up later to ensure everything was right and tight. Later, when another contractor damaged a duct in my attic, I called the people I trust to fix it. Having hired a couple bad contractors over the years, I appreciate WCE even more.

Wayne from West Coast Energy is great. He arrived at the appointed time and went to work immediately. Within minutes he knew what the issue was. I had water coming from a secondary drain for my AC. He explained to me thoroughly the issue and what he will be doing. I learned a lot just talking to Wayne. He recommended maintenance tips as well to prevent clogging and what I should do to keep my AC in tip top shape. He even recommended a filter place for me to go. Awesome work, awesome service. I will definitely recommend West Coast Energy in the future.

Installed two complete systems. Four service persons came and were very efficient and friendly. They covered everything new every day and fully explained the systems. This is a dirty job but they left everything clean and neat. I highly recommend West Coast Energy.

Ultra-high quality. Excellent workmanship. 100% honest. Perfection from beginning to end. Pricing is more than fair. Wayne, Patty, and everyone that works at West Coast energy truly cares about each customer and treats them as if they were their only customer. Who even does that anymore? I was beyond impressed from beginning to end. My highly analytical science-nerd brain had countless questions for both Wayne and Patty before, during and afterwards.

They were beyond patient and had highly knowledgeable answers for me every single time. They provided options and never tried to sell me anything. They were an absolute pleasure. I decided to have both the AC unit and the furnace replaced. It was beyond due. Installation: I stayed upstairs (self-imposed Covid-19 distancing precautions) and watched our extensive system of security cameras, so I would know if anyone in the crew needed to speak with me, had any issues/questions, or needed me to sign anything.

What these guys probably didn't know, was I could see ALL of their highly meticulous, skilled and fantastic work that they did, as they did it. They were beyond impressive. Seriously, no group of workers is *that* flawless, but they absolutely were. They work very hard, are highly efficient, yet rushed though nothing. They don't cut corners.

They make sure each and every thing down to the smallest detail is completely perfect. I was simply amazed by just how good these guys are. Extremely skilled and very clean, and they more than adhere to Covid-19 guidelines. Sanitary to a tee. Upon completion, everything turned out absolutely perfect. Just phenomenal. Like yourself, I had read all the great 5 star reviews on Yelp, along with Google reviews as well. I'm so thankful that I went with West Coast Energy. You can't go wrong with these guys. I highly recommend them.

To have your AC die on you in the middle of a CA heat wave in the summer is a nightmare.but it doesn't have to be if you got lucky, like we did and picked up the phone and called West Coast Energy! We have a wonderful AC system that for some reason stopped working after a power outage. I researched on yelp for some places to call but as fate would have it, right on our AC system, was the number for West Coast Energy.

My husband and I called right away for an appointment. Technician Jacob showed up the next day! In the back of my mind, I was extremely nervous.did we need a new system, did we need a new motor, and most importantly, how much was this going to cost us? Jacob diagnosed the problem right away, thoroughly explained what happened and why it happened, answered any and all of our questions, fixed it, gave us some tips on how to take care of our system and even complimented us on our AC unit! The cost? About $250.and worth EVERY PENNY! Jacob was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient! We would highly recommend West Coast Energy and technician Jacob!

I met Patty in 2002 right when my mother had just passed away Patty was so amazing so kind so compassionate then she was able to get us air-conditioning right away because it was the hottest summer and we were suffering not only with grief but with heat as well everything was quick and fast and very expedient everyone was so professional so nice kind and we have dealt with Patty and West Coast energy for the last 18 years they feel like family they're always very efficient whenever I call they are able to make appointments and come right away and problem solve and help us! Very competitive pricing, wealth of experience, great customer service. We've been enjoying our new system for about a year and the HVAC runs great. Along the way, we had an issue with the evaporator. They replaced it in a timely manner. No charge. And they did it with a smile. They are good people and I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone.

Great recent experience with this company! Jacob came and evaluated the issue, provided a resolution and suggested ways that we could maximize efficiency for our AC/Heating Unit - provided a quote for everything, and offered good pricing if we decided to perform all the recommended work. No hard sell though - which we appreciated! We made the decision on the work to be performed and it was completed quickly and without issues. Will definitely be keeping Jacob's business card and will use WC Energy again if we have AC issues and/or if we decide to make efficacy improvements.

Our AC went out right before the October super heat wave here in Yorba Linda. Worse yet, it was the blower motor. Ours is multi speed which means it had to be ordered. We got three quotes, two around $1500. West Coast quoted just over $1100. All three said it would take 5 to 6 business days as the only place to get the motor didn't expedite shipping. So, staring at 5 to 6 days of 110 degree weather, 3 dogs and no AC, we were in a spot.

During maybe the busiest week of the summer for them, Patty and West Coast came up with this. She said she could get somebody to us within two days and they could install a temporary single speed motor to keep the unit functioning and even offered to loan us a portable AC unit for the two days in between. I ended up going out and buying a portable unit that same day, and as promised, they were out two days later with the temp motor, just in time for the worst of it. Very fairly priced, honest, professionals. Top notch.

I have had the unfortunate experience of needing multiple AC service this year (two on the same unit). After Jacob found a leak and some coil issues, he repaired them. Not only that, he told us that the AC unit in our home was installed facing the wrong direction (toward the sun!) and that some wiring were not safely enclosed, which could lead us into more issues in the future.

Not something a homeowner wants to hear five years after purchasing a brand new home! I personally appreciate his feedback and the information he shared with us. He is helping us financially prepare for future repairs and maintenance. I also appreciate the fact that he teaches me something about HVAC every time we talk! Today, he did some maintenance work in our rental condo.

The tenants' cat happened to be home and after Jacob was done, I could not find him! Jacob stayed back for a few extra minutes and helped me look for him, which is really above and beyond his duties as an HVAC tech :) WCE is an excellent HVAC company who hires extraordinary employees. Thank you for the consistent service!

NOT a ripoff service. Nobody likes to call an a/c tech but they will minimize your pain. Technician Jacob was thorough, explained what went wrong, and how to avoid it in the future. He even gave recommendations for a new thermostat and register covers. (Long service wait time, but understandable for the time of year and a heatwave. They offered a referral for emergency services for the elderly, etc.)

This review is overdue. This company is the real deal. They installed a Maytag 15 Seer condenser with a 2-stage variable speed furnace central heating and air conditioning unit 4 years ago. It took them 3 days to install after going back and forth for two months, answering all my questions. I am not an impulse buyer. I have to ensure my questions are answered before making a big purchase. Patty was great in answering and providing information.

I had received approximate 7 estimates from other companies and their pricing was a great deal. Their customer service was exceptional. Recently, I had the A/C unit serviced for the first time and to to my relief it was covered under warranty. Jacob was friendly and informative, answering all my questions. He provided input and advise on how to protect our investment from the inevitable, wear and tear. They live up to their motto, "There is no substitution for quality!"

Lesson learned: Change your air filters and it could save you a service call! Originally I was going to use a competitor (who also received high praise from yelpers) but they were swamped with business, they actually had to turn away new clients. So I found WCE and saw they also had high praise, and left a message. Patti called me back and asked me what was the problem.

I told her my "symptoms" and she scheduled me with Jacob on a Tuesday. Before hanging up, she gave me some suggestions on troubleshooting, but unfortunately they didn't work. Jacob arrived a little after 10 am (I was told between 10-12 for the call) and listened to my AC problem. I told him one day it worked, and then the next day hot air. The AC did give a "clicking" sound, and I also told him I tried Patti's suggestion.

He checked my furnace, then my air filters. They were beyond filthy (or as he wrote in the paperwork "Extremely Dirty".). He first changed the air filters (for just $10!) and then went to my AC unit. He determined my compressor was the issue, and replaced it. He explained my filters were so bad, it overworked my AC. I'm sure he said more, but I was just thrilled to feel ICY COLD air, I didn't care what the reason was.

He gave me the measurements of my 2 air filters and said to regularly change them. Had I changed them say, even a month ago, my compressor probably would had been ok. After the air was flowing, he walked around, and adjusted the vents, and made sure all the rooms had cool air flowing properly. The price was fair (even with the $72 hr house call /labor charge) came to under $300. I'm very happy with the service. Highly professional, friendly, and even he tolerated my yappy little dog. I can't find any fault in this company, and recommend this with 5 yelp stars!

Fast response, friendly manner (both receptionist and technician), prompt and successful repair. All in all: professional and reasonable Service.
