Brian and his crew assess the situation on the 1st day. Recommended best insulation period from start to finish they have been very pleasant I felt very comfortable having him in the home with my children and my wife while I was not there. AC was working fine before the tech left. I suctioned out the drain 2 days ago and has been fine since. Before he left he assures me it was going to back up again. Called me with all of my information for an appointment for quarterly service. I am already paying a monthly payment with a different company. My fault for not verifying. All he wanted to do was upsell me for items I have never heard of.

Everything about my experience, so far, has been great. I was called with a courtesy reminder for the appointment. I was even called 30 minutes before the appointment as an additional reminder. And they were right on time. Eddie was stellar! Personable, professional and knowledgable. He explained what he was doing at each step, even though it was all Greek to me.

He dumbed it down to help me understand rather than simply talking above me. Unfortunately, they were unable to complete the service as the previous company had done some shady things to my unit, making it a bit too sketchy for them to disassemble without potentially CREATING a problem that didn't currently exist. They are on their way to quote me a new unit, although mine is good for now.

Better to know than not, I think. But no pressure from anyone to do so. Just me being proactive. But if you are in need of any repairs or maintenance, I strongly suggest them! They'll treat you right.

I have been a customer of Unique Services for about 8 years and have been impressed with their response and professionalism at all levels. I scheduled an appointment for a 6 month A/C system maintenance check since summer is approaching. My call was happily answered by a Unique professional and she scheduled the appointment - wish I could recall her name.

The service professional dispatched to my home was Charles Rollins - Mr. Rollins was on time - courteous kind and efficient! I enjoyed speaking with Mr. Rollins the entire time he was enhancing my A/C system. My sincerest thanks to Mr. Rollins and Unique Services!

I referred my daughter to Unique to replace their 24 year old system in their condo. I have to give Jeremy at their office big kudos for working with us today and giving top notch service to these young kids needing a new AC system. In this COVID world so many people are struggling and it's great to know we still have local companies like Unique that care about their customers and stand behind their product.

Dear Paul: Thank you for your visit last week and your presentation of a verbal quotation for a replacement Carrier heat pump for our 8-year-old Goodman heat pump system. As I indicated during your visit I had previously made arrangement for a second opinion on the condition of our present AC system. That occurred two days after your visit and as a result we respectfully do not accept your proposal for a new system.

The reasons for this follow: 1. Of the several deficiencies reported by your Unique Services technician only the capacitor was found to indeed need replacement. a. The Unique Services fee was $400+ to replace the defective capacitor which is readily available locally for $12.58! In my view the Unique Services' replacement fee is immoral and perhaps provides a glimpse of an excessively greedy culture within the Unique Services business. Yes, replacement deserves a service fee, but not 35-times the actual cost of the capacitor. b.

I also suggest that the reduced initial quotation for a replacement heat pump from Unique Services of an initial quotation of over $16,000 down to an eventual $8,700 is further evidence of the cultural greed of the Company. It appears evident that Unique Services tries to capitalize on the product ignorance of the average customer by charging exorbitant prices for those who do not know any better. 2.

The Unique Services technician did not check the refrigerant level which the other vendor did. That refrigerant level has now been increased to the proper level. 3. The Unique Services technician reported to me that our Goodman system is particularly noisy and that is an indication of needing replacement. The 2nd opinion technician said the sound of our system is 'normal' and measured it as 59 DB which from the internet specs suggests this is a 'normal' degree of 'loudness'. 4. Based upon this experience it is tempting to suspect that the Unique Services technician is on a commission which benefits him/her if his/her inspection report results in the sale of a new (possibly not needed) heat pump.

In summary, I will need to be convinced that Unique Services is a fair and reasonable company that is not out to financially gouge its customers before I will call upon it again in the future.

Overall had positive experience with Unique primarily because of their sales guy Mike and their installer Chris. These two were very professional and did respective jobs very well. Overall I experienced "Unique " as a unique blend of vey competent and uniquely bungling. Lots is dropped balls and mistakes blended with some real competence and customer service at a very good price. If you can stomach the ride the price and the ultimate result are probably worth it.

The gentleman who did the work here today (8 February) was terrific. He was effective, efficient, professional and polite. He corrected some of the very poor installation and errors caused by the folks from the same company when the system was installed. The timeliness of Unique's services has been very poor. They never show up at the times promised and have Ken multiple trips to correct and service their product. In conclusion, not thrilled about the company and their reliability but they are lucky to employ the technician that visited us today.

Unique installed for me the lesser quality water heater tank, which I found out by chance the next day when I read through the papers attached to the tank. I signed and paid for the better one. Moreover, used a smaller size pan because that's all they had at the time, plus some pipes were miss directed. I paid more than twice the amount than the average for a flawless job, ultimately I had them remove the tank. Customer satisfaction service were of very little help, embarrassing to denial. Staff was courteous for the most part.

The worst company to do business with they are a total rip-off. This is the second time within 5 years that we had to have the water heater replaced to have it replaced cost us another $750 when they did all the plumbing they did not notify us that we needed a new shut off valve which is corroded and leaking so we called them today and they want to charge us another $350 for that replacement. my concern is why didn't you tell us that valve was leaking and replace it at the time of installation so I'm into hot water heaters for over $1,400 and I still have a leaky valve I would say this company does not know what they are doing and they're very rude on the phone.

And I am disputing these charges and we'll get in touch with other Florida consumer affairs. I warn everybody be cautious with this company we had dealt with them since 1992 So Be Cautious

If there was an option to put NO stars I would. This company came to my house and acted very unprofessional. One of the guys was smoking the whole day and left his cigarette buds all over the front of the house and yard. This was just an overall horrible experience. I would never recommend this company to anybody. I was so pissed off at there performance that they had the audacity to tell me they would be back the next day to finish a 4 hour job.

When they finished I noticed they put a sticker of their company on the outside unit and I ripped it right off. This company as a whole including the manager are scammers and con artists. ZERO OUT OF FIVE STAR RATING.

I had this company put a whole new air conditioning system put in my home. It's only 6 months old and they've had to come out 4 times already. They also waited almost 6 months to report it to the city for the permit to be inspected. Now, I called to speak with a supervisor and I'm STILL waiting for one to call me back, it's been 5 days so far. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

We have had an awful experience with this company and do not recommend them. They send technicians to fix a system they installed and recommended that do not know how to service said system. Our system won't cool our house to the temperature we set our thermostat to, and they apparently do not know how to fix it. We have had service technicians to our house almost every month and sometimes multiple times per month throughout the year we've had the system. They now refuse to return our calls or respond to our emails. TERRIBLE DIAGNOSTICIANS WITH NO INTEGRITY TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PROMISES!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! AND THE PRODUCT THEY SELL! 12 YEAR WARRANTY BECAUSE IT NEVER RUNS! RUN AWAY! Unfortunately I can't leave negative stars. Had a new AC unit installed last June, an it has been nothing but trouble. Within the first 6 months, we had 9 service calls. By the 10th they ordered a new air handler. 3 months later it was installed. Now we are experiencing the same issues again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AN ALL OF IT'S PRODUCTS! VERY UNHAPPY AN HOT!

I'm sorry to say that I'm no longer going to use Unique. I have used them at my home and two condos we lived in over the past 12 years. Last week my AC unit was not cooling as well as before. They sent a tech who tested the pressure and said it was low on 410 coolant. He did not check for leaks and I was not smart enough to know better. (I looked and can buy the coolant on Amazon for $5 per lb) he added 4 lbs and my bill was $334.

It lasted two days! If he had checked for leaks I could have saved the money and might have purchased a new unit from them. I called a number of companies. And most want to sell you a new AC.prices ranged from $5300 to $17,000.only one company (AMA) offered to check for a leak. They sent a tech, who saw that the dryer part was corroded and leaking.

He fixed it for $230 including 5 lbs of coolant. Before you spend thousands. Check for leaks and hope you find the right sort of company that isn't out to take advantage of you UPDATE 2/20/2018 The corporate office became involved after my post on Yelp. I had a nice conversation with them and they agreed to refund my payment. I think we both learned something from the experience and want to thank them for admiring a mistake and taking action to correct it.

These people have been doing a lot of radio advertising in the sw florida area and offering a $1500 buy back on your old a/c unit if you purchase a new one from them. i had several estimates for a new unit from other companies and when i called unique for a quote on an identical unit provided by the other companies, unique's quote was $2000 higher. i will admit that their warranty was longer than the other companies, but not $2k worth. it's true there are no free lunches. after hearing their commercials over and over i decided to write this review as a public service. if you want to get an accurate quote make sure you provide an identical brand and model number so you're comparing apples with apples. like they're going to put $1500 in my pocket. right!

While this company was excellent technicians, I am stunned by their charges for even a likely sales call to discuss an add on to my A/C Unit. I pay for a service contract and they still will charge me! I am looking at other options for service now. Disappointing!

Very unimpressed with this company. I called a few weeks ago to schedule an appointment for someone to look at my water heater since it turns cold quickly. I made an appointment for the one AFTERNOON I had off. After waiting for about 2 hours I called the company, and they said the technician tried to come out in the MORNING and I didn't answer.

They then gave me a 2 hour slot for the following morning (a Saturday). As the end of that 2 hour slot was approaching and no one had showed up I again called the company. I was on hold twice, for over 15 minutes, as the person I spoke to tried to confirm if someone was coming or not. Finally I was told the plumber was on another call, and he would call me when he was done with that.

At this point it was clear no one was coming in the 2 hour window I had been given, or even close to that, so I cancelled the service and said I would be finding another company. Perhaps their work would have been good but I'll never know as customer service was horrible.

Had them install new unit 1 1/2 yrs. ago. This is for a second small home, so it runs very seldom. Called this past week because was blowing out warm air. First guy came at 6 pm and said a $551 isolation test had to be done. He also said it could cost several thousand $$ to run new copper lines. Another guy came the next afternoon to do it. He said he would come back in 24 hours to check on the levels to see where leak was.

A different man came out the next afternoon and said it was done wrong and would have to be done again, and it would take 3 days to read results. He came back then and discovered it was a leak inside the unit. This was a leak that the manufacturer-Carrier was at fault. He did fix, finally. Have been calling the manager from Fort Myers, Chuck, for a few days, and low and behold he doesn't return any calls!

It is 90+ with high humidity and I had no air for the past 6 days. I paid $551 for an isolation test that should have never been done if the first guy would have checked on every connection for a leak ( the last guy took off the air cover and discovered and oily substance on the insulator cover over ther compressor.) That then told him that the leak was there. He knew the company was wrong charging us, but he could not do anything about that. This is a poorly run business. All I want is a REFUND! for my $551
