Just wanted to let you know how much we have saved this winter despite the severe temps in Birmingham. The efforts and suggestions yall made last Fall have really paid off.

Everyone I have ever dealt with at Standard from the employees that take the calls to the technicians that have come to my home have been incredibly respectful, nice, responsive and professional. Brad was very courteous and professional. I trusted him to fix the plumbing for both of my tubs. He says they are now fixed. In a few days, I plan to use one of the tubs and see for myself.

I had an issue with a shutoff valve. When I first called Amanda was very responsive and connected me with the plumber, Brad. He came right out and quickly fixed the problem. Brad explained everything he did an advised me on proper maintenance. I had a great experience.

Standard just installed a garbage disposal for me that I had purchased separately. The service representative told me that it would be $89 service charge plus any required parts. After the job was done, they charged me $380! Shane did a great job and finished within an hour, but the fees this company charges are OUTRAGEOUS! Take your business elsewhere if looking for transparency and value. EDIT: At least they offered a discount when they saw this review. +1 star, but I'm still unhappy with their pricing transparency.

I used this company for a plumbing need. The whole experience was very positive - - from my initial phone call, to the plumber (Brad) coming exactly when they said he would, to him being very professional and Covid conscious, and to him explaining things to me clearly. He completed the job in a relatively short period of time at a fair price.

Standard is excellent. Darryl, the technician who serviced our units, was professional, thorough, timely and just plain nice! The dispatcher on Saturday was also so nice and efficient -- I was so thankful we were getting same day service and she was great about calling back with an expected time of arrival. I had Justin and Javion come out and replace all of my ductwork. It was a really taxing job and they both executed it flawlessly. They wanted to do it right and make sure everything looked good. It wasn't even listed in the job but they patched up some of my return duct to prevent moisture from getting in. These guys know what they are doing and are transparent through the whole process.

I do not recommend this business. I have had 4 toilets break with the same issue in the past 6 months. It cost another plumber $220 to fix the two downstairs toilets earlier this year. He was not available to fix the two upstairs, so I decided to try this company. The Standard technician told me the repair would cost $580. He was at my house for about three minutes and I had to pay $79 even though I did not have him make the repair.

The other plumber came back out once he had availability and fixed both upstairs toilets for $220. Standard's pricing is not competitive. Save your $79 service charge and call someone else.

Highly suggest Standard! Amanda & Daniel were so sympathetic and helpful and reassuring - even though they didn't even suggest I hire them to do any work! (the work needed to be done required another company) They simply wanted to provide their generous knowledge and help! Thank you Standard!

I wasn't provided a specific time for servicing, however they showed up at 9:05 am. Darryl was extremely professional. He was in a mask and shoe booties. He took his time checking all the components. He was honest with the issues and showed pictures of his concerns. I was appreciative that he didn't push any services on me, but provided a quote with various options and let me decide.

Once I selected my maintenance requests, he got to work. His attention to detail was on point. Once maintenance was complete he spent quite a bit of time cleaning the systems up. He even went in to bend back tiny bits of metal that were catching the air filter. I was initially going to have the ducts cleaned as well however the appraiser (Daniel) came out, coordinated Darryl and advised the ducts were relatively clean. I appreciate the honesty, professionalism, and detail in their work. Highly recommend.
