Our natural gas furnace and heat pump started working intermittently recently. I called Sound Heating & AC who sent a service rep out that afternoon. The problem was determined to be a faulty thermostat and a new one was installed. Mitch, the service rep was great to work with. He was able to help us get the correct thermostat installed and set up.

He patiently explained the best settings and times for our sleep and away times and programmed the unit while I observed. I will definitely use this business for regular servicing and repairs In the future. We love the new upgraded thermostat that cools and heats the house more evenly than the old one ever did! thank you Sound Heating & AC for your great customer service.

We were looking to upgrade our hot water heating system from a tanked system to the new tankless system. I called around, and finally decided to use Sound Heating & Air as the company we wanted to use. They were very professional, and took the time to explain the entire process. When the technicians arrived they were very polite, and explained how the installation process would happen.

After they removed our old tanked hot water heater the technician pointed out how our old system had a very slow leak that I never noticed that actually rusted out the top of my old tank. So it was the right choice to switch out the system. From start to finish they took just over 3 hours. Took the time to ensure they cleaned up after themselves, and properly tested to system to ensure it worked correctly.

Finally the technician provided detailed instructions how to register for the manufactures warranty. We are very pleased with the quality of service, and the total professionalism they provided us. We would highly recommend them for all your heating, AC, or hot water needs.

I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude to this company. We've had to have them out on two separate instances - mind you it was nothing Sound Heating did to have the problems for either call out. Tyler is an amazing technician, he was super responsive to our urgent call out and turned up first thing in the morning and fixed the issue (due to my user error). As a courtesy he also switched out our filters in the home while he was out. Our AC unit is now working again! Thank you so much! I highly recommend them!

Weeks prior to the heatwave that hit the PNW we had signed an agreement with Sound Heating & Air Conditioning to add two A/C units to our home. The professionalism & courtesy showcased by Tammy went above and beyond our highest expectations! The day of the install happened to coincide with the highest temperature day of the heatwave and the install had to be canceled for the safety of everyone involved. Kevin McHenry himself called to apologize for the need to delay the install and promised to finish the job as soon as possible.

True to his word, Sound Heating and Air Conditioning sent two teams and the next day and turned two days of work into just a few short hours. Aaron and all of the guys did a phenomenal job! We couldn't be happier with the quality, cleanliness, and professionalism showcased by all involved and don't hesitate to offer our recommendation.

Rude people at the company. I'm an upset customer, and they blamed my husband for their mistake. Don't use this company. AVOID THEM! Their tech cut my hose from my washer to the wall, and then blamed my husband for my washer leaking because of poor maintenance. It never leaked before, until they came and messed with it in order to fix our AC unit. Also, my husband never pulled out that hose, as the washer was just fine the day before they came to fix our AC issue.

I don't appreciate their customer service rep being completely rude, and accusatory towards us. They don't even deserve the one star. If anyone knows a better company? Please let me know!

The experience was great from start to finish. They were recommended by the foreman at the new subdivision we moved into. Tammy came out and looked at the spot and wiring for the heat pump and gave me a quote which was absolutely fair. The guys showed up on time as promised all wearing masks. They were respectful when in the house doing the work and finished quickly.

One of them took the time to give us an education on using the new thermostat for the heat pump. In reading the negative reviews it was like we were dealing with different companies. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company

Sound Heating and Air Conditioning has serviced our furnace on 2 separate occasions since we moved to the area a few years ago. Both experiences were very good. They got us an appointment quickly that worked with our schedule, they were courteous and on time, and at our most recent appointment, the technician wore a mask and was careful to practice social distancing. Their work was also quick and efficient. We will continue to use them in the future.

They are a terrible company. Rude to their customers, and don't own up to their mistakes. Hopefully I don't have to much water damage, since their technician decided to cut my hose line from my washer to the wall. I don't appreciate their accusations either.

They used to be very good. Had them for 11 years. However it seems for the last few years - they have lost quality work and customer service. Just had another company looked into our heat pump - this was after I already called them several times as our 5 year heat pump/furnace was not working (which they installed). Never called back even after repeated calls.

So found out they did not install the heat pump properly. Never connected the outdoor thermostat when it was installed. Even though they service it - regularly - they never mentioned about the problem. Incredible. Plus they chargemore than double that what other places does just to diagnose. $189 (weekday), $289 off hours vs $85 in other places Not stingy about money - as long as good work is done. But paying double for shoddy work is not my thing. Goodluck to new and old customers. Look elswhere.

Our home was built in 2017 and we've noticed an issue with airflow into one particular room. I finally went up to the attic and noticed an issue that was constricting airflow to this particular room that was done during the initial installation. I called Sound Heating, and because it was past the warranty period, it wasn't covered. But I showed them a picture of the issue to Sound Heating, and they agreed this was an issue and agreed to fix it for free, 3 years later and out of warranty.

They stand behind their work and made it right. Thank you Sound Heating. I will be using them for any future needs and I will gladly pay because I know that this company will stand behind their work.

Our experience was not good, and reading the other reviews indicates that this outfit has some serious management issues. We called because the two-year old furnace was not working at a house my wife manages down the street. The tech spent 5 hours trying to figure out why the low-voltage fuse on the board was blowing. They recommended replacing all the wiring and electronics.lol.

We were charged $487 for the 'diagnostic fee' and the furnace still did not work. I went over with my Fluke and two packs of 3-amp fuses. Initially, I couldn't find the problem, so I started unplugging things from the board, and finally the fuse quit blowing. The wiring to the IDM was slightly bubbled, and by raising the wire off the base of the cabinet, the problem was solved. Called Brett, the manager, left a message: He never returned my call.

My next move will be to notify the BBB, Home Advisor, Facebook Business, and any and all other forms of public forums I can find, so that people are aware of their bad business practices.

My furnace main blower failed catastrophically in the middle of the night. I called Sound first thing the next morning. They got a technician to my house that afternoon, and he had it fixed in less than two hours. Good, fast, courteous service at a reasonable price.

Put in a new furnace for us after the old one died. Tammy was great to work with on the bid and getting the job done. Where able to put in the next day and it was completed in three hours. Senior discount and PSE helped on the cost. Great service!

They get a zero star. They originally installed my gas furnace in my home in 2008. Ive contacted them three years ago for service. The funace stopped working. They never responded or called back. I am an electrician and diagnosed the issue as a bad mother board. I went to Granger to get a new control board but they wouldn't sell it to me because i didn't have an hvac license.

I refuse to waite for people or companies that slack off. I found a third party on the internet to sell me the factory board. I installed it and the furnace has worked great until now. I contacted them again two days ago and.crickets. no response. I trouble shot and metered everything in the furnace. It all goes back to the board. Ordered a new board.again. which will be here on the 13th. Two things. Don't use sound heating and dont install a york furnace.

I am part of a property management company and very frequently work with HVAC vendors. I have never encountered a more rude, unhelpful business. I was told that my situation didn't concern them and that they were unwilling to come take a look at an HVAC system that they installed. Extremely unprofessional and unconcerned about maintaining their work after completing the service. Please do not waste your time.

There is no way I could recommend Sound Heating in good conscience. They had originally been contracted by my builder to install the furnace in our new home, and to simplify warranty coverage we asked them to estimate costs for central air conditioning installation. Sound Heating talks about offering a veteran discount but immediately removed it from the table when we tried to finalize a contract.

They told me they would try to match a competing bid we had previously received from Lennar's other contractor, but when we sent it to them, they were rude, insulting, and refused to do the work. Our builder had noted that they had become more difficult to work with in recent months, and judging from other comments on social media, our experience with their service was not an isolated incident.

When I contacted Sound Heating again to see if there had been a misunderstanding, they refused to honor their commitment to veterans and refused to even consider doing the work. Lennar, upon reviewing this, released us from the obligation to work with them and allowed us to select their other provider. So happy about that!

Install is poor. They forgot key parts of the installation. When I found out and tried to have them come fix it I was 'out of warranty.'

We have continued to give this company our money only to see a heat pump never get fixed. We have tried every solution they presented and nothing has worked. Yet they still want to keep charging us to try new ideas and have no idea what customer service really means. Brett is probably the most rude person I have ever dealt with in my experience as a homeowner.

He only seems to care about money and not getting it right. When I was frustrated to the point of tears, I asked to speak to the owner and he said the owner could not call me because he's never in the office. He told me someone else would call me back but they never did. We've given hundreds and hundreds of dollars to this company and still have a heat pump that doesn't work. It's so frustrating.

We had a wonderful experience from our couple of calls, meetings, and an onsite inspection by Tammy Achten, our Sales associate. We live out in the boonies in Yelm, WA- they were happy to come out our way to help! We opted for the mid-grade Carrier Heat Pump and thermostat to replace our old, broken system. We had received four estimates, and Sound Heating and Air Conditioning was the best - All-Around.

All four installation technicians were friendly, clean efficient, and answered any questions I had. The removal and replacement went like a dream! Carlo and Aaron were our system installers, and the electricians were Damien and Matt. Thank you all for such a professional installation from top to bottom! We highly recommend Tammy and crew!

Service man was very friendly and very helpful, however when calling to talk to the service department the man was very rude, unhelpful, went out of his way to make me feel ignorant for not understanding HVAC. I call him the man because he refused to give me his name. Told me that I should talk to Cody, wouldn't transfer me to Cody, I just bought a new home that's having heating issues. I would suggest go with a different firm

I can't thank you enough for same day service and taking the care to do it right! My tech was great and really did an amazing job. My furnace was not cooperating and it was super frustrating. but he stuck in there and got us back and running again! my neighborhood all has the original furnaces and I will recommend you to anyone who is having any issues!

Don't do it! Plain and simple DO NOT USE them! They will NOT stand behind you and they will send you to the manufacturer. They will charge you for the service call, probably replace the equipment & reimburse themselves an make $$$ off the service call. Equipment is 1 1/2 yr old NEW Furnace AND AC for over $8000! Apparently we are NOT a priority AT ALL! Can you tell we're a little pissed off!

After having our AC installed as part of our purchase of our home, we noticed when the weather was getting warmer, the master bedroom and master bath were not cooling like other parts of the home. Sound air came out and conducted a rebalance and said that should take care of it. The worker finished the job and I signed the work order. Later we. found it was still a problem.

Initially Sound Heating & Air said that they were no longer responsible as they had already performed a rebalance. Upon having an inspector come out prior to our one year home warranty, the inspector noticed a gap open in the return duct and a lack of installed dampers. After our builder talked to Sound Heating & Air, they agreed to come out and perform a rebalance and inspect for noted problems.

The worker found that two ducts (ones leading to problem areas) were taped closed, restricting airflow. He quickly repaired the problem and took care of the gap and lack of dampers. I am appreciative that Sound Heating & Air stood behind their work and resolved the issue.

This company will rob you blind. Had someone out in December to fix a noisy fan, they couldn't fix, but they cleaned our furnace and did service $140.00.we could not stand the noise anymore so we called them back out Friday. The gal finally figured out the problem.the air intake vent cover was put on backwards.this cost us $205.00 : She was at the house barely 40 minutes. They should have let it go as a call back, but they don't care about return customers.too bad for them we'll buy our AC unit from a competitor!

Install went very good, All was fine till my issues with intermittent cold air blowing and my guess is a simple t-stat reprogram would fix. They came out but never saw it act up. Then the promises, weeks turned to months to years. I'm done. Don't expect follow up with this company. Too bad I really liked the install guy. But sick and tired of the cold shoulder. Look elsewhere. I will spend money with another company to fix.

Beware and read the previous reviews. There is a pattern here. They came to tweak our system because it was running hot and they talked us into a complete rework of our heating system. Several thousand dollars we paid to then end up WITHOUT HEAT during the coldest days of the year. They charged us for the visit to come and look at it and then told us they warned us we might lose heat. Then they said they would charge us additionally to come and fix what was the direct result of their work. What?

Heating system was installed in 2016. I cannot heat the downstairs to 70 degrees. if I want the main floor to be 68 degrees, it means the upstairs will be easily 75 degrees. I have called multiple times with a promise of a call back to have the home "balanced". It has been a week since the first call with no reply from the balancing supervisor. There are a total of 4 vents located on the 1200 sq.ft. main floor and none in the powder room.

I installed HVAC systems for 15 years in another state. This home should have a minimum of 6 vents. There is no way me to add any without tearing out sheetrock in my brand new home.

This company is the absolute worst. They contract with shoddy, slum builders and are highly unscrupulous. They use an attorney friend to try and intimidate consumers that post complaints or dissatisfaction with their services on social media. Freedom of speech is a thing in America. This company has a terrible reputation in the industry amongst their competitors.

Sound Heating only cares about the builder's bottom line. Their work is subpar at best. They don't want to be held accountable for their shoddy work so they refuse to provide documents like the startup sheet that would substantiate the consumer's concerns or complaints. Do not hire these incompetent fools. Just read the reviews.

I wouldn't if I were you. There are a lot of great heating specialists out there but there seems to be many many more bad ones. looking at the work that has been done to both the boiler and the AC here at our building its hard to tell if the mistakes made were deliberate or just bad. Really, really bad. We have never been able to have them come fix something that didn't eventually need to be fixed again, or ended up breaking something else, other contractors seem to be baffled and disgusted with their work. Conculsion: Yes they will fix your problem. And then they will fix it again. And again. And again. And again. Our facility will no longer be looking to Sound heating for our heating and cooling needs.

Our house is pretty much unbearable when it gets above 85 degrees outside, but we never thought we could afford a high quality AC system to cool the entire house. When it started to get really hot a few weeks ago we decided to look into AC. I knew they had to be extremely busy but Tammy came out the next day to give us a quote. She was extremely knowledgable and helpful!

We ended up going with a new furnace, York Air Conditioner and thermostat. And it was a great price! The staff was prompt, professional, and courteous when installing our system. Tammy even came by to check in when it was being installed. I now come home to a comfortable home and truly feel it was a great investment and that we did business with a wonderful, family owned company!

Our 18 month old furnace stopped working. Supposedly you have 24 hour emergency response, but we've left four messages with the emergency number and it's been 13 hours and we have yet to receive a call back!
