Called for a problem caused by someone else. The plumber came quickly and had it fixed fast and was very professional. Wish I could give them more stars

(Update to review) - I can show you the receipt, you were at my home and not sure why there is no record. Honestly I feel as though you're being dishonest and saying there's no record. Got a quote and put stuff down our drain to unclog it then left. It ended up making it worse and charged us $170 for a quote and to make everything worse. I have never had someone charge me for a quote!

Smithmyers are always very caring and professional. I had a problem with a smell of gasoline in my basement, and even though it wasn't their problem once they figured that out, they stayed and helped put my mind at ease. We received a quote from them to replace our hot water heater for $1,700. When they completed the work, the final bill was $2,344. I questioned the difference in price and asked for a breakdown but they told me that it was a flat rate and they couldn't provide that information to me. I can understand a little difference in price between the quote and final cost, but not over $600!

I Had Smithmyers come to my house to replace a small pipe and they had to clean out the shutoff valve outside and chatged me $504.00 and they said it was because they spent 2 hrs sucking out the shut off valve. If thats the case im starting a new sucking business lol. I will never in a million years have them back again. Ive had another plumber here and they did much more work and was really great for a lot less money, they were just booked up and couldnt get here in time. Eckels plumbing is who i would always recommend.

If you are a review reader, then this is the one to read to give you an honest & accurate opinion about this company. After my old plumber had retired, I knew I had to locate a company that I could trust. I was looking for someone that actually knew what they were doing when I called to have service done. They also had to be pleasant to deal with & the main point is that they didn't over charge you with those little hidden fee's that other companies do.

I found the perfect company! Smithmyer Plumbing & Heating is a family owned, local business that has been around for many years. The customer service & the pricing is a lot better than what a lot of other companies charge. Trust me I tried them. I was so pleased with the few smaller jobs that I had them do, that I bought 2 furnaces from them. I couldn't have asked for any better quality, quick service & professionalism that they provided when they installed these 2 units.

I reached out to Smithmeyer's for a drainage problem in my basement. The receptionist was able to get me on the list for the same day. I only had to wait about a half hour before one of their plumbers reached out to me that he was on his way. They were able to diganose the problem quickly and gave me a variety of different solutions. They were upfront and did not push me into making a decision.

The price was reasonable especially for the amount of time the plumber spent at my house. I look forward to using Smithmeyer plumbing for my future plumbing and heating needs.
