We sought out several bids from various companies and decided on Sedgwick. They were the most reasonably priced, they provide a good product and they stand behind what they install.

Jeremy from Sedgwick was awesome. He was Prompt, super friendly, and did a great job explaining what he was doing, what issues he found, and what the different options were to fix it. He also resolved our issue. I found him professional, transparent, and trustworthy. I would definitely use him and Sedgwick again in the future. I also had a good experience talking with the dispatcher, who was knowledgeable and was able to get me a tech out the same day (which I did not expect)

This company is extremely responsive! The furnace did not kick on one morning and Jon had a repair technician on his way out before I could even get home from work. We rescheduled for the next day and he found the issue right away. Jeremy was so kind and took his time explaining exactly what the issue was and what he planned to do. Everything was still under warranty, so we are good to go for more cold MN nights!

Service trip for water heater was 109.00 and they were out in 2 hours. The technician was fantastic, good communication and honest. It would be a 5 star review for the technician. However. We got quoted over $2,800 for a water heater or $2,600 if we got the service plan. It seemed high so I called the other company that I have also relied on for appliance and hvac.

They were $1,749.51 (including tank, supplies, permit, labor, disposal and tax). I called the technician back from Sedgwick because I wanted to give them first crack at a price match (I frankly would have gone up to $2,000 to match because I like to give the business to good technicians who come right out and are so professional and good). He checked with the company and the company was unwilling to change. So, I went with the other company.

For an about $1,000 savings I had to. I like Sedgwick and have had good luck with them in the past (as well as today with the technician - he was fantastic), but with this experience I would ALWAYS get quotes if considering them now. Edit to add, the new one I am getting is a low boy heater.

We had Sedgwick replace our furnace and AC about five years ago. Did a great job at a reasonable price. Yearly follow-up maintenance has kept things in tip top shape. Their service techs are knowledgeable and super nice. Excellent all-around experience. Services: HVAC system maintenance, Heating system installation

Jeremy was right on time, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I scheduled the visit to get some options relating to our air exchange unit and home humidifier. Jeremy was able to explain all of our options, including his recommendation. Lots to consider, and I look forward to getting to work as soon as my wife and I agree on a direction.

The Sedgwick person who came to our home analyzed the problem and determined what need to be done in a very thorough and professional manner. He also explained the situation very well and helped us make the right decision as to what to do. He did the work very promptly and got the furnace back into operation. I believe his name was Robb.

My furnace wasn't working this morning so I called the Sedgwick office. Someone was at my house within the hour. Milo was super nice! He explained everything to me and did the maintenance that was needed. I would recommend Sedgwick to anyone Service: HVAC system maintenance

They were able to help me when my furnace died on an extremely cold Sunday night. Their answering service was friendly and professional, and their technician got back to me fairly quickly despite being very busy. The technician was able to fix the problem easily and had the parts to fix it in his truck. Very happy with their service! Service: Heating system repair

On a very cold evening my furnace went out. My first contact was a no go - said they couldn't help me for 4 days (and added that I wouldn't get ANYONE to come out that evening) I then called Sedgwick. I received an immediate call back; and a service tech arrived an hour later. Brent was awesome and immediately found/fixed the problem. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sedgwick Heating and Air!

After getting an opinion with another company the other day who just made excuses to replace my furnace, my heater still wasn't working in very cold temps. Called an emergency visit to my very cold house and they were quick to respond and come out. Did a very thorough job explaining and showing what was wrong and answering all my questions. Helped me figure out what the issue was and suggestions to take care of it long term as well as an alternative few plans if it doesn't fix it. So glad I got a second opinion and I absolutely will be using them for all of my other furnace related needs

Sedgwick installed my Lennox Elite system in Nov 2019. Until this last week, I never noticed the PVC exhaust air outlet was leaking condensate that was dripping onto the furnace. Wayne _____ came out to my home and delivered exemplary service, not simply attempting to repair the leak but decided to replace the leaking joint with a newly constructed PVC exhaust. Great job, Wayne!

In an AirBnB, evening before a 3-day super hot weekend and the AC goes out! Yikes! Owner doesn't answer my calls. Called Sedgwick and in 15 minutes their technician arrived, Wayne. And he fixed it! Super professional, helpful, positive. We were so grateful! And lucky. I'm only sorry we don't live here because Sedgwick would be our regular service provider. Wish I could give them six stars. Don't hesitate to call these folks. They are terrific.

Was highly impressed from my first contact with the sales person (Chris) to the technicians who installed the system. Sedgwick was very price competitive and their installers did a neat and clean professional installation in a difficult area. Very pleased with the air conditioning system (Lennox) as it is quiet and efficient. I would definitely use Sedgwick in the future.

Parts prices had a $500 surcharge for EACH part due to 'overhead'. (so a $150 part magically became $650 for example). Spent $70 for a replacement pilot light assembly and fixed the trouble myself. I would guess I saved myself around $1500 to $2000.

I feel like I have been taken to the cleaners by Sedgewick Heating and Air Conditioning. We purchased our furnace in 2013 from Sedgewick after our 30 year old furnace quit. They sold us the most expensive Lennox furnace, claiming it was the only one in stock. I didn't really belive it but it was -10 outside so we needed a furnace. Cut to 2019; the furnace wasn't working so I called them since my furnace is under warranty.

They came out the next day and charged us $110.00 for a diagnostic visit (fair enough). The problem was diagnosed as a short in the thermostat. In addition they charged $269.00 to install a $40.00 non-programmable thermostat. They did not say how much the repair was going to cost. I could have and would have done it myself with the help of youtube had I known what they would charge. I feel scammed and cannot recommend them.

Bad customer service. I've used these guys for years but obviously they have had a change in management or at least in their approach to customer service. I had them install the third furnace I've purchased from them, I have taken them from house to house as I've moved and they assured me it would be done in one day. It wasn't completed on time but the issue came when I tried to get them to follow up to fix what they had left unfinished.

They would only give me a four hour window to come back and only on a specific day. I had rearranged my schedule to be available during the install but wasn't able to rearrange my schedule for the unexpected follow up. The scheduler was rude and basically said "tough luck lady". I tried to escalate to a manager and couldn't get a call back.

I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. These people don't care about customers and won't make an effort to keep your business, even if you've been with them for a decade.

I have been using Sedgwick for 13 years for annual service and as needed. They are the best. I recently moved and immediately had a major furnace issue. The handyman for the condo building called someone else to shut the furnace down and we used them for the repair. It got way worse from there. Thank goodness for Ron at Sedgwick. I'll never allow any other contractor near my HVAC! Ron diagnosed the problem, coached us through the multiple service calls, and now is working with others in our condo building. Travis and Chris did the install and were so patient, courteous and left our home just as they found it-except for the new furnace. He explained everything. We'll be getting the annual maintenance plan set up again.

I wouldn't go through a Minnesota Winter without a heating contract. I've been using Sedgwick for my furnace and AC for many years. I'm on my second Lenox furnace and appreciate the performance. The one fee contract covers a furnace and AC tune up during each season. The contract only includes a discount on parts but if you have to call in on January 20th with no heat you will bump others who do not have a contract and probably have service in an hour or two rather than two days.

The company is locally owned and operated. There was a brief period when they were owned by Lenox and all calls had to go through an 800# answered in Florida. It was a near disaster calling to make an appointment. They soon dropped that service and have always answered locally and can make an appointment in about fifteen seconds. The only annoyance is they give their techs a large window for arrival. The appointments can only be made from 8:00-12:00 and 12:00-4:00. They will call about ten minutes before arrival.

Awesome experience with Chet diagnosing our issue that we were having with our A/C. Totally professional and explained the situation along making sure that our parts were ordered promptly and came back to fix the problem. We would def use them again.

What an absolute nightmare it has been to work with this company. Yesterday they said they would be here by 4, and didn't even call to say they would be late, he showed up at 4:52, then he could not get my heat up cause he needs a part, but cannot get parts after 5, had he shown up when they said he would, that would not have occurred. He promises me he will be back around 10 AM and I was OK with that.

When no one showed up I called at 2. I was then told my time frame is 3-7. A time frame I never would have agreed to because I had a doctors appointment already scheduled between that time. Now most likely my kids will sleep in a cold house again tonight because they couldn't even call to say they would be 5-9 hours late. Small update, John called and agreed to refund my money so at least I didn't have to pay for the first visit where nothing got fixed.

I appreciate that, and I if not for the fact that they were late both days, and did not call to say they would be late either time, I would have upped the rating to 2 stars. I wish I could give a 1.5 star rating.

I had Sedgwick come out to address some issues with my furnace. They came out within the designated time specified. The tech that came out was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He took around two hours to diagnose and fix the problem. He even cleaned up so the area was immaculate. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. On top of it the price was very reasonable. I will be calling Sedgwick for all my hvac needs.

Excellent company and staff! Very honest and experienced. I called about my furnace shutting off before my desired temperature and they offered to come out the same day. I was lucky to have Tom as my technician and he showed up 10 min early to my appointment. Mine was an easy fix but he went thru and checked out everything just to be sure. He explained things very clearly and didn't try to push any additional products or services on me. I will definitely be using sedgwick in the future for ALL my heating and AC needs. Very fair price and top of the line quality service. Thanks for the help Tom!

I bought a furnace and air conditioning unit from them this summer and had excellent customer service. They rearranged their schedule to accommodate me and all the technicians were knowledgeable and courteous. The sales representative, Chris Buchanan, did an excellent job of explaining my purchase options and helped me acquire all the rebates that were offered on the equipment. I also had them install some new HVAC on a bathroom remodel and they were quick and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sedgwick Heating. They were awesome.

To sell our house we had to replace our old furnace first. Got three companies to come give a bid. Dan Pahl from Sedgwick was by far the most professional and spent the most time covering what he recommended, Their quote was the most competitive by far. Install team was also great. Had issues with cold air in new house basement. Dan came out and showed us what we could do to improve the efficiency of our heating system. Once again super professional and did not try to sell us something we did not need. I am now a great fan of Sedgwick

Had them over 3 years ago to fix our central air in our home in Eden Prairie. Ac turned on but didn't make the compressor go. I wasn't home so they just did the job, charged my cc for $325-359 and left the old part. Last year I wasn't home much so it never got used. I don't even think once. This year I turn it on nothing. Thinking in my mind, god now it will cost $350-450 to do it.

But it's the same thing. So I grabbed the old part that they left, googled it and bought it online for $12 shipped to the door. Spent 3 minutes taking out 4 screws and it works great again. Now I'm think wow, I feel violated that they charged me that kind of money for. A$12 piece. Granted they figured out the issue and had the part, but still. Makes me rethink of ever using them again after the price gouge shock.
