He is one of the few individuals in any service-related office Ive dealt with who has taken the time to talk with the customer to explain things and answer in detail any question the customer may have.

Enzo was fantastic. Full stop. Patient, Knowledgeable, and he got the job done. We have an old boiler for our radiant heat, and knew exactly what do to. I've had other experiences with other companies that were no where near this.

Last night as we head into one of the hottest days of the year, we realized that our A/C had stopped working. First thing this morning I called and they said they could send someone out this afternoon. Then they got back in touch, told me something had opened up and someone came right over. The problem was affordably fixed within an hour and the tech seemed polite and knowledgeable. Will be calling them again if we need someone!

We were not having any problems with our AC - it worked perfectly through 90 degree temps in May. We scheduled Rod Miller for a Spring Inspection on June 2nd to make sure everything looked good for the summer. Their tech told us the only thing we needed was to have the drain from our unit unclogged, which we did. He checked the refrigerant, but said none was needed.

Within days of this visit, our AC could not maintain the temp set on our thermostat. It was constantly running several degrees warmer than the setting. We called Rod Miller back and explained the problem. They sent a different tech on June 17th who said we had a refrigerant leak and needed diagnostic tests for around $500. When I balked, he had me talk to their office.

We settled on having them top off the refrigerant and said we would see what happens. 4 weeks later our AC is running great and the temp stays exactly where the thermostat is sent. Rod Miller's tech had let refrigerant leak out on June 2nd and they charged us $200 on June 17th to refill what they released. I explained this to their office but they refused to take responsibility. Our "spring inspection" ended up costing us an additional $200 beyond the advertised price of $59.95. Would not recommend.

Interior HVAC system had leaked water inside the unit, and onto the floor, accompanied with soaking wet fiberglass insulation inside the lower portion The leak was taken care. The service person began to pack up to depart, with water remaining on the floor from his efforts, and I asked would he remove the soaking wet insulation, and pointed to same on the interior floor of unit and left wall of the unit.

He removed about 80% of the floor wet insulation, and removed none of the interior wall wet insulation. He stated that was the best he could do. He left the insulation debris on the floor with water also on the floor that had become present from his drilling three (3) holes into the PVC piping and placed black tape over the three (3) holes, with the tape not secured properly.

I didn't expect to have to ask him to clean up after the service and know as well there exists an alternative method to drilling holes into the PVC piping, wherein there's a tool, and/or air blow to address same. Telephone Call immediately to the Service Manager who agreed with the basic/minimal expectation of clean up. Upon further thinking and inquiry of others, I sent two (2) emails with pictures with no response of any kind from Rod Miller HVAC. BEWARE, re. customer agents who don't clean up, and cause undue damage to HVAC components with no response from the Business, with a processed charge of $120.00.

The same technician came out three times within a 10 day period for a refrigerant leak. The first time he replaced the schrader valve, and refilled the refrigerant. I got a call from my tenant the next day about the AC. The second time the tech came out he said he braised the line near the pressure switch, and refilled the refrigerant again. Again, my tenant called me stating that the AC wasn't working.

The third time he came out the inside unit was frozen, due to a lack of refrigerant. He refilled the refrigerant, and stated that he checked the pressure and everything was fine. 42 days after the technician came out a third time the AC isn't working again. Of course the company won't stand behind their work, because they only have a 30 day guarantee on their labor.

Their work is substandard, overpriced, and they get an attitude when you call them back out to fix a problem they should've fixed the first time. Do yourself a favor, and avoid this company.

Several years ago I responded to an ad advertising special price on first time online users. Set up an appointment guy came, took forever to diagnose the problem. Found him sitting up on the roof smoking a cigarette. When he finally finished and gave me the bill twice as much as the advertised price. When I questioned him he gave me some BS about it Being more complicated.

I didn't want to take the time or energy to argue with him so I just paid him and let him go on his way. Later expressed my displeasure to the company, but nothing was done. Later ask him to stop soliciting me with your services. Since then every saved there on wanted substations at least one or two times a year for the last several years. I have requested numerous times for them to cease-and-desist and as of yet they have refused.

The latest of which is a postcard reminding me to schedule a service call. The real sad thing is it has come to my new forwarded address, so the SOBs are tracking me still. Please stop. I gave them one star only because I had to do something. If I could give them a negative rating I would.

Our system was not pushing out cold air. They found the problem with it clogged up and needed to be cleaned. They were able to fix the problem and working in a quick and timely manner. Service: Repair HVAC

I had a HVAC system that was loud and barely chugging along. Enzo from Team Rod Miller showed up, tweaked my system, AND signed me up for an annual review (which I highly recommend). When Enzo left, I had trouble turning on my heating system. Rod Miller technicians are always knowledgeable and fix what needs fixing and keep our heating and AC running efficiently. They are the go to people to have the right job done the first time, and they are reasonable too! They have not recommended replacing things before their time but do the right thing every time.

Technician Enzo came out to give free second opinion on my AC unit replacement. He was able to find a faulty wiring and saved me a whole lot of money and aggravation. I'm definitely switching my maintenance to Rod Miller. Thank you!

We had an issue with our AC & were unable to get a technician scheduled from the company that installed it initially for several weeks. David was able to send someone out within a few days to evaluate the problem and he fixed it the same day! Steven was professional and knowledgeable. We are happy to be Rod Miller customers and now have a service contract so that we don't have to worry again.

This company has a $120 fee to come out and assess your issue. In my experience, this is extremely high and unnecessary. We were never told this when making an appointment and the person who came to our house led us to believe that this was the full cost of labor. We are now out $120, no work was done, and the company is insisting they properly explained this fee. If you go with this company, get all costs upfront in writing.

My condo building requires us to get annual HVAC inspections twice a year to prevent leaks. After being told by a tech (who works for a company I won't name here) that my system was completely busted and needed a full replacement (it's still functioning properly, a full 1.5 years later), I got a second opinion and decided to shop around for a different business.

Enter Rod Miller. From scheduling to receiving my final report, the entire appointment was seamless. Jeffrey, the technician, was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest about the state of my AC system. He called ahead to let me know of his arrival and was both thorough and efficient with his inspection and reporting of the results. After having used several companies in the area to provide this service, I'm relieved to have finally found one that I'll stick with as a repeat customer. Extremely dissatisfied with the service. The technician just mentioned the pipes needs to be cleaned as there is a clog which he did by opening one of the pipes ends. He then wanted to charge me double for both flushing the pipes and pvc fittings which he anyways had to do if he wanted to flush it. Too pricey for the kind of service provided as I was told the maintenance service is included in the initial price mentioned but I had to pay almost double the amount. I reached out to them as it was an emergency but I will never use them again.

Had issues with water from AC unit. Condensate pump was working, so troubleshooting it further was beyond my capabilities. Called in am, was told the could have someone out that day. Was given a 6 hour window for ETA. Tech responded with that window. He made sure to show me what the issue was, and gave me two options. Left the decision to me. I appreciated his frank and open nature, no hard up sell. Work was completed, and system was thoroughly checked out. Service was exactly what I expected. I recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

Just had two very nice technicians from Rod Miller come to my house today and clean the dryer vent in my basement. They were very knowledgeable, and knew how to handle the flex duct connection. When they were done, the connection to the outside looked better than ever. They were neat and polite, and I was very pleased they were chosen for my small job. Thanks!

About 11 months ago I needed an emergency furnace repair. I called about 5 places and rod Miller was the only company which could come that day (none of the companies which I've used in the past were available, which is no reflection on them). The guy who came was terrific and solved my problem in an inexpensive way by routing around an unnecessary broken switch.

Since he was so great I went ahead and signed up for the 1 year service contract he was peddling, but didn't think I would get much value from it. I was late doing the included preventative ac maintenance but got it done in June or July. Then last weekend my ac failed. They came out quickly and only charged me for parts on what could have been an expensive repair.

First time visit. chose this company based on good reviews. and they did not disappoint. Sack, our technician, arrived on time, was very knowledgeable (with 12 yrs of experience in HVAC), and was willing to explain what he was doing along the way. He also gave great tips for routine maintenance, and things to look for if our systems ever break. He was fast but thorough, and very clean. Highly recommend Rod Miller Inc.

Needed a last minute appointment for our rental unit in the D.C. area. R.M. HVAC pleasantly answered their phone and sent David out the same afternoon. He called me in route, showed up on time (earlier than expected for a last minute call), added two units of coolant, clearly explained his findings in a professional manner, and was out the door in about 1.25 hrs.

As simple as all this sounds, it is amazing how difficult situations like this can become. They are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive service in the area, but they did what they said they would do, and to me that's truly note worthy.

From the get go they were so helpful and just down right courteous. My mother's boiler system was having issues and had contacted the Spartan company and was told she had major issues and had to replace her 12 year old unit. RIDICULOUS! Things didn't seem right so I looked for another company and found rod miller.they are great. Not only did I talk to a nice lady initially I spoke directly with a technician who talked me through what the issue may be, and scheduled a tech to come out later that afternoon.

Once they came over they easily found the problem, showed me what the issue was, answered my questions and even called the main office immediately to see if the part is in and a great estimate. Overall great experience even tofay when I called to follow up to see about the repair given the pending snow storm.

Three strikes: 1. Ma'am you definitely have two thermostats in the house and I am going to find the other one, even if I have to walk all around your house against your wishes (wrong) 2. We can't fix your boiler filler valve, but I think I have the name of a plumber in my book (wrong) 3. You don't need a repairman, you need a salesman - we can get someone out there right away (wrong)
