Reliable Air Conditioning

My AC broke down and the first company to inspect told me it all needed replacing and asked for 4,800 USD plus tax - the second company after inspection asked for 3.500 plus tax. At that point Henry's team arrived -the AC was back on within 20 mins and it cost 250 bucks.- it was burnt out cables- i was shiocked when they had teh AC back on after being told the entire unit was toast a few hours before, I have only ever used Henry previously in the last 10 years in both my appartments on the beach and it was my mistake to have called others i should have just waited until he called back - you can trust this company 100% to always give you the truth about what is actually wrong. Don't replace a unit until Henry tells you it needs replacing.

AC drain clogged while I was away. Caused a leak into my living room. They came and simply vacuumed the drain charged an absolute fortune and took advantage because my house sitter was there and left the place a complete mess. I called when i got home to find out what the deal was and they were first very rude and then never responded back to me. Very disappointing because before this they were always pretty good.

Horrible experience! Extremely untrustworthy company. Made an emergency call on Friday afternoon and they reassured me that technician will be available within an hour. Nobody ever showed up and when I called that they told me they have no idea why he didn't come and next available time is on Monday. Terrible way to do business

The guys came over last weekend to take a look at the unit. Apparently the repair wasn't necessary and just provided some maintainer tips. No charge for the service and they traveled quite the ways! Omg! BEST WORKERS. Their business name is very fitting. They always come RIGHT AWAY & Henry is the owner & very nice and the tech was Eduardo and he was the BEST! Super professional, on time, quick & got on 2 tall ladders to get to my 2nd floor roof in South Beach & found the problem and fixed it. I am happy & pleased to have found them owning a business on South Beach for 25 years & guess I found my new A/C company. Thanks

After calling 2 other companies (didn't show up and the other quoted an appt in 2 days) reliable came to the rescue within 2 hours.3 times the charm! We noticed our a/c died the night prior and we were glad to not have to suffer another warm Miami night without a/c. Within 2 hours of calling, 2 techs came over and assessed that our compressor had reached its limit.

We were charged 3k for a 4ton carrier compressor plus installation which seemed expensive but considering how quick and "reliable" they were the premium seemed appropriate. Obviously I could've shopped around and looked for a cheaper service and maybe saved several hundred dollars but if you don't have the luxury of time and want good, efficient, pleasant service then just give them a call.

They respond quickly, their staff are very polite, they help you clean after work and their fees are reasonable. Their company is great!

Ok the owner didn't communicate much but the nice installers came and we agreed to adjust the price back to a fair price for the device. 3200. I paid with a credit card and the issue is resolved. I am happy. The aircondition is loud but I will move it to the garage later. This way they don't lose money and I don't overpay for this. An ok outcome.

The installers are very very nice people btw. They cheated me in multiple ways. 1- they OVERCHARGED me 3000 dollars over what competitors charge. 6000 dollars for a 2900 unit! The owner suggested to price match this when he was trying to resolve the matter. But he wanted me to keep the unit! 2- they installed a LOUD unit that was not equivalent to my Amana unit.

There are apparently step motors vs other motors. The machine is so loud you can't sleep at night. 3- they installed a brand called Goodman that I never heard of. I only figured this out when they left, when they handed me the insurance thing. 4- they told me my ac unit had a dead motor that would cost 1400. Facing such a huge bill, I thought I would replace the AC.

Apparently the warranty was void also since it was 5 years old. They said it only had 5 year warranty. In reality if you register online it becomes 10 years. So I am thinking maybe my warranty was maybe not over and maybe my motor was not dead either. The owner tried to push me to keep the loud device, or leave me with no AC. I told him why don't you get me a less loud machine and I'll be happy to buy that from you similar to my Amana.

He said there aren't any devices on the market. And that loud Goodman machine that he charged me double was the only machine out there! I told him maybe we can install that later to the gym, but next to the bedrooms it's so loud. he said he didn't want to resolve it this way. He then told me I am dishonest and so on. Their crew is really kind and polite.

They worked hard and fast. But When I asked for their phone numbers they didn't want to give it. And they also took my Amana device without my permission. So overall I am at a loss. They can be doing honest business and work this fast and be successful. I don't know why they are resorting to dishonest business practices. I am now waiting for their owner to get back to me on when they are gonna take the AC removed.

So I can be done with this company. I may update the review if there is anything that turns around. by installing a 6000 dollar unit that actually is advertised as a 2900 dollar unit.

Terrible company. Henry the owner never returns our calls and just lies to us when we do get a chance to talk to him only when we call from an unknown number. Bought a new $5k AC that never worked right. Had another AC company come out to show me that they installed two different model year units and sold them as brand new to me. Told us the unit has warranty with him when we bought it, but once installed never would respond when it had problems.

We are currently looking into the process of trying to get our money back but it has been a nightmare. Call them at your own risk you have been warned. Updated on 11/18/21 I'm not a competitor I was a customer. I have all the calls and the invoice. Since you said here for the world to see and I took a screen shot that you will replace my machine if I provide the invoice, well I have the invoice and all the calls.

Let's see if you will change my unit then? Yeah right you will you won't even call us back. It's a lie you go on here and respond to my review a month later. Yes I have the invoice and copy of the payment to another company and I also have all the call records. Your a liar I just call you again and you pushed me to voicemail and you never call back.

SO had an issue with my AC tonight. Called this place and the guy said he couldn't get someone out till the next morning. Given that it Was late on a Friday night, I completely understand. However I was having an issue where my nest wasn't reading power. I tried everything with regards to plugging in the face and charging the battery but still nothing.

The nice gentlemen on the phone told me to take a few pics of my unit and send to him via text I did so even a video. he then proceeded to explain to me that given his years of service he knew EXACTLY what was wrong and that I could fix it myself! he proceeded to walk me thru everything I had to do on the phone and it completely worked! problem solved!

I offered to bring money to their location and say thank s and he wouldn't have it. The HVAC business is a lucrative one for repair and insalation companies, and generally the. you need emergency service it gets so EXPENSIVE! this guy didn't even ask me for money just walked me thru how to fix it myself. if I ever need major repairs or anything is wrong with my AC im going to call them 100% thank you Reliable Air Conditioning. "RELIABLE" being the key word!

Its a bit troublesome hiring a technician for a failing home appliance. Most of us have had a taste of a ridiculous estimate that makes you cringe, or the often seen technician babbling a list of reasons why you ll have to go to the bank for a fortune to get things fixed. This company has quickly become my go-to for any AC issues I have. They respond quickly, arrive in a timely manner, and efficiently solve my problem. Pricing is reasonable and the techs that come out are great. I am grateful to have discovered this company and will continue to work with them in the future.

I will start with one positive thing, this guys came the next day and diagnose the problem fast. But I was over charged on this job by more than $150, I don't appreciate that specially during a pandemic. Taking advantage of your client is the wrong thing to do. Two other company's quote me $150 cheaper, guys I recommend you to get several quote before moving Forward with this company, on my side I will never recommend them to anyone.

Tried to book an appointment to have my A/C maintenance done within one week. Henry responded "I'm booked". Great service!

Called them in the early afternoon, they were here the same day for the A/C unit on one side of the house that wasn't cooling as I thought it should. They checked it out, recognized that with cathedral ceilings and it being unusually hot and humid over the past week, the unit was working to capacity, cooled air from the ducts was the right temp and the coils did not need cleaning. All good, very professional, masked and when we need repairs, I won't hesitate to rely on them again.

Fast service! I Called and they came the same Day and resolved the issue. Reasonably priced. Will use again.

I called Henry at Reliable Air Conditioning today around 11 AM to ask to see if it was possible to have one of his technicians come to my Miami Beach condo to take a look at my A/C unit leak. Henry said he could have a tech over to my condo after 12 PM. (This was great and such a quick response time!) And just as promised, Henry called me back around 12:30 saying the tech was on the way and would be there shortly.

The tech (David) arrived with another worker and immediately figured out the problem and both workers were so polite and efficient. They figured out the problem and were in and out of my home in about 30-45 minutes. Reliable Air Conditioning is just that- RELIABLE! They were also very polite on the phone and in person. And their servicing prices were very reasonable. I've dealt with several contractors for A/C and appliance repair and I can tell you Reliable Air Conditioning is a God send!

The last A/C contractor I had (Air Pros) was a scam and left me screaming at the company owner while their tech was in my home. long story :) So if you need your A/C repaired, look no further and call Reliable A/C.

Thanks for coming out during an obviously tough time to get my condo A/C back in working order! The techs came on time and were very respectful of the space, had masks and didn't leave any mess etc. They identified the problems as something they could repair and were able to fix it during their visit. There was no pressure for unneeded services or parts. Lovely cold air is now coming from my vents just in time for our rising temperatures this week. These guys are real life savers! My air conditioner stopped working and they came out after a little while to help me out. They were done incredibly quickly and everything was good as new. I called Reliable Air Conditioning because my AC unit was broken and I needed to make an appointment. They were able to send a technician to my apartment within 2 hours on a Saturday night to diagnose the problem. He was so kind and able to replace a broken part and fix my unit within 30 minutes on the spot. The price was very reasonable and the service was incredible. I will absolutely use Reliable Air Conditioning in the future and I recommend that anyone else do the same!

Called for emergency service.we were really working on a severe time issue.told me he'd be there in an hour.two hours later still waiting.called to find out where he is and he hasn't gotten back to me yet.finally showed up several hours late.

Henry has shown to be a real team player when you came to buying my condo. when I needed someone to come and give an estimate to fix the AC he was there within 10 minutes gave me a great estimate. If only a few more people were like that when it comes to home improvements.

Five years later, my AC stopped cooling and I called Reliable. Once again the service from Henry and team was prompt and professional. The unit had frozen and suspected a leak. They had me wait one day to defrost the unit to make sure that was the issue. Next day they came back, refilled he gas and I m feeling nice and cool. The repair is not inexpensive, but it is a good value dealing with professionals and work done well.

Soo. why was it so hot in the house? No clue. but Reliable AC did! I contacted them after 10:30 pm and had a reply around 11:00 pm! As agreed, they were at my house the next morning to diagnose the issue. Thankfully it was a relatively easy and semi-inexpensive fix! It required that I turn off my unit for a few hours before they could repair the issue.

The technicians left and returned a few hours later to complete the task. While they were out, Henry called to provide an updated ETA. VERY MUCH SATISFIED! Oh, did I mention that It was Saturday Evening when I first contacted them and it was a Sunday when the work was done without a weekend premium?!

I called to schedule an appointment, and the next day they were on site and fully cleaned out our AC system. They also installed a new heating element in our unit at no cost for labor. All in all, they were prompt, professional, and thorough. Would recommend them and hire again.

Reliable Air Conditioning lives up to its name, and I'm incredibly grateful. My a/c unit's fan decided to go kaput overnight on a Saturday, and with temps in my apartment steadily rising toward 80 degrees, a time-sensitive work project that had to be completed from home, and no availability to meet repairmen during the week, I needed immediate service on a Sunday afternoon.

I quick Google search led me to Reliable. They answered the phone immediately, and committed to coming out to my apartment in about an hour (and gave me an hour-long window for their tech's arrival). The 2 techs came by in the first half of that window, quickly diagnosed the problem (the motor/fan just gave out and needed to be replaced), confirmed they had a replacement part at their shop, quoted me a price, including labor, and confirmed that the part came with a warranty.

The part had to be brought over from their shop, but once in hand, they installed it in a matter of minutes. As I sit here writing this review, I'm enjoying a steady stream of cold air blowing on me, and could not be more pleased with Reliable's service and professionalism. Reliable is truly reliable! Don't look any further when you need 24/7 a/c help - they're your guys.
