Next time I have any sort of issue around the house I will not be calling Parker and Sons that's for sure. I had my ac unit installed by another company 4 years ago, and last summer my ac went out. I heard amazing things about Parker so I figured I'd try. I heard they can check warranty for the parts so id jusr cover labor. I booked my appointment middle of day and they were pretty full but said someone would get there just not sure when.

I left work early because I didn't work around the corner, sitting and waiting. Nothing. Ten pm comes around and still nothing. I finally gave up and went to my families house since my dog was panting extra hard. I figure I'll deal with it in the am. I get a voicemail super early saying not sure what happened but we'll be there asap if you still need us.

I call back like the vm says and get their answering service. I called my boss and said I'll be late again and they were understanding to get this fixed. Parker didn't show up until about 10 even after they said it would've been closer to 9. It was a failed capacitor, quick easy fix cost me over $150 for "labor" They definitely dropped the ball.

Since they have good reviews my sister tried them, and they wanted to charge thousands more for a water heater. So if price gouging is what you want, Parker's your place. I know they do good work by some reviews but it's not worth paying thousands. I know there's a cost to doing business but come on, $8k for a tankless heater is insane. The more reviews I read the common pattern I see is, overly priced and/or missed appointments.

I used this company for years. I don't know what happen. They have really gone down the tubes. Bad everything from customer service, attitude from technician's, quality of work, etc. They should go back in time when they were small and honest. I will never ever use them again.

Our AC went out unexpectedly at 9 PM. In a panic we found Parker with their 24 hour service. I called at 9 PM and was greeted professionally. We got scheduled for the next day. Our technician called ahead of time. We quickly diagnosed the issue and had the parts on the truck to make the repair. 30 minutes later we were up and running. I appreciated the professionalism of the scheduling as well as the professionalism of the technician. Thanks.

I had used Parker & Sons at my previous home so I wanted to use them in my new (to me) home. I trust them and their quality of work. I have now used them for A/C, electrical and even bought their home insulation package. I was pleased with the work. They are a fair value. I tried one other company for a simple job and while cheaper, I was not happy with their competence. All of the techs that have come to my home from Parker & Sons have been very friendly, efficient and professional.

I had a leak in the line that goes to my freezer's ice maker. Had to shut off the main. Called these guys and they came out and monkeyed around for an hour, gave me a tablet with the fix options (no prices were shown). I assumed a small leak repair would cost around $200 to $300 but I should have asked. After he fixed it, he said something to the effect of "It was going to be $800, but I got it down to $650.

I had no choice but to pay. They later called me back and asked me about the work and I said it was fine, just too expensive. The lady I talked to said she'd give me 20% off, which brought it down to $500, though its been over a week and I haven't received my credit Update: They called me right after I posted this and insured my credit would be issued and sure enough, I got it the next day. They asked if I could "fix" my review a little so I am. These people try to rip you off.

I'd search around before you use these guys they are very high priced. They are quick to respond but they are very very pricey. $3800 dollars to repair a broken water line that was easy to get to and they left excess scrap materials under my home. They charged me a leak detection fee after I showed them where the leak was located. Then they started adding in numerous charges for completing the job.

I've used Parker & Sons on a number of occasions in the past four years. They're my go-to for work I can't do myself, always responsive and professional. Yesterday's project, replacing a dying water heater, was no different. Estimator Joe showed up right on time Monday morning, listened to my concerns, laid out several options without pushing me toward any in particular, and got me scheduled for service that afternoon (where I'd been expecting "Due to supply chain issues, we can't actually do this work for another 45-60 days"). Techs Russ and Santino pulled the old heater, installed my awesome new Rheem 50-gallon hybrid along with an expansion tank and pressure regulator, and left the garage in better condition than when they arrived. The entire process could not have been better.

We had a shower handle break from the inside and was leaking water that wouldn't stop. I called Parker & Sons and they got me on the schedule right away for the first thing the next morning. James showed up and explained To me what was wrong with the shower, and how he could fix it. He gave me a quote right away, and then started to do the work. He did a great job, and I am very pleased with what he did. I'll definitely call Parker & Sons again if I have any more issues.

They came through when others didn't. Great quality work and very fast on getting my system back up during a heat wave. The A/C Tech was terrific! I also picked up their loyalty program which I feel is a great value.

Our electrical panel stopped working on Wednesday morning. We had absolutely zero power to the house. Called Parker and Sons to troubleshoot the problem. They diagnosed the bad electrical panel and got the wheels in motion with SRP, including permits and inspections to install a new system to replace the 1980's one. We spent one evening in a hotel and by Thursday afternoon, all power was on. Michael and Timothy were extremely knowledgeable and professional and worked their butts off to get it done as soon a possible. We have used Parker and Sons for our A/C units and I wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

We had a soft water system put in our house. The sales person came to give us the quote and literally made an appointment for install the next day. They were professional, quick and did a great job overall! I am very happy with them and will keep their number for future plumbing needs.

I recently had a lot of work done by Parker and overall I was very impressed. I had a full home rewire and my lead electrician and PM was Liam. He was excellent. The project finished ahead of schedule and the results were great. There were a few minor issues I didn't notice until a couple days later and Liam was out personally the next day to fix all of them. Cons: the drywall repair teams quit was over 3x a normal drywall company. I'd recommend Greg Professional Home Improvement for that kind of work.

Their quote for a water heater replacement was very pricy. I bought the water heater myself and had them install it. This was a much better value. I highly recommend going that way.

I needed to add square footage to my home to accommodate my daughter & grandkids who could no longer afford to pay rent in a nice area. We needed to move quickly & decided the best option would be a garage conversion. We started talking to numerous independent contractors. It was quite a time consuming & daunting task. We were discouraged & confused by the bids and promises. Decided we would just play sub-contractor & manage the project ourselves.

The first thing we did was insulate the attic & we hired Parker & Sons to do the job. During a conversation with them, I found out about the new division at the company specifically for garage makeovers. Long story short; we hired Parker & Sons & I'm extremely satisfied & amazed at how great my new living space came out. I can only praise all the workers who were all professional & friendly plus they did a beautiful job.

Special thanks to Todd who came out everyday to check on the progress & was super easy to talk to & work with. This is my favorite room in the house. You would never know this room used to be full of dirty junk and cars. I plan on other upgrade projects in my home & I will be calling my friends & new family at Parker & Sons to do the work.

We had another company tell us while servicing our 12 year old unit that we needed to either get a new compressor or purchase a new Air Conditioning unit as the amperage on the system at startup was above the manufacturer specifications and the unit may go bad this summer. We hired Parker and Sons to perform a diagnostics on the system and give us a 2nd opinion. Humberto R., told us that our system was within limits, but that the amperage on the system was above the manufacturer specifications (similar to the what the tech from the other company said). However, rather than try to sell us on a new system, Humberto suggested that we put in a high voltage start component to take care of the issue. Hopefully that takes care of the unit, but we appreciate the 2nd opinion and not being pushed into buying a new system.

Parker and sons service technicians arrived on time as scheduled. They were very courteous and professional. They inspected the sump pump and determined the sump pump was not functioning. They immediately gave me an estimate of the cost to replace the sump pump. I reviewed the estimate and agreed to have them replace the sump pump and alarm. They got to work and finished the job in a relatively short time.

They removed all the defective parts and cleaned up the work area when they finished the job. Once they completed their job they showed me what they did and explained to me how the equipment worked. They ran various checks on the system to ensure it was properly installed and working. I thanked them for doing an excellent job and would definitely use them again.

I had a 12-year-old water heater. Rather than risking it going out and causing damage (and a mess), I purchased a new electric water heater. Most installation companies require that you purchase the new water heater through them. and then they charge you 2-3x what the water heater actually costs. To avoid that expensive debacle, I purchased mine direct from Home Depot. and then set up installation with their dedicated installer -- Parker & Sons. Parker & Sons does not have the best reviews, so I admittedly was a little concerned. Well, Chris came out handled the job with the utmost professionalism. and did a fantastic job on the install!

From draining and removing the old one to bringing in and leveling the new one. to getting the plumbing lines and power secured! It's good to have hot water. and it's even better to not have to worry about the water heater going out for a long time! 5-star experience all around! *****FIVE STARS*****

So disappointed. I paid around $1000 to get two outlets installed (lol I know, but I was sure that because it was expensive and a well known company I wouldn't get myself in a bad position in case something went wrong, that there was assurance to fix a potential problem). So the guy came, didn't take long at all to install the outlets, and when it was done the drywall was caved in and it looks terrible.

No offer to fix it or discount me, and my boyfriend was the one who paid him because I was sick in bed which is a problem in itself that he let a man who is obviously not me 'okay' it when I'm the one who paid for it. (I was also annoyed with my boyfriend for this but you know how men are- he had the attitude of 'I can fix it' and it didn't happen like that because of the complexity of the damage).

So now I have to get someone else out here to fix it, causing me more time and money, when I thought since I was going through a 'reputable' business this wouldn't have happened in the first place, or they would at least be on top of fixing this for me. Who walks away from work they did that they aren't proud to show? Obviously these people. Everyone else who values their work doesn't leave the job with something looking bad.

Imagine if your contractor, wedding planner, even hairdresser does that. I chose to go with a bigger company than a small one or an independent worker because I figured it would have meant their business standard would be higher.

Christopher came out to reset one of our toilets and to reattach the supply line from the wall to the bidet seat. We have never used Parker & Sons prior to this job. Found them here on Yelp. They were able to schedule us quicker than I expected. Called on a Friday and they were here early on Monday morning. Christopher called just before arriving and showed up per his scheduled time. Chris is a pleasant guy and after a brief chat he got to work.

He did a great job! He determined that we needed a new wax seal and had one on the truck. Finished the job and left the toilet area clean and neat. Absolutely no complaints. Price seems fair for the amount of time and effort. Would recommend both Parker & Sons AND Christopher. If he is available I would suggest you ask for him by name.

We bought a Eco Water whole home water softener and refiner system from Parker & Sons about five years ago. It has worked great but recently our water started tasting awful and really salty so we called them out. They were available to come out the next day. For the past couple year we've been using potassium in our unit instead of salt. Turns out we had a potassium build up and that is what was causing our water issues. Dancy, the tech quickly diagnosed the issue and removed the build up.

Easy fix. However, when behind the unit the tech noticed a horrible rat nest! The rats had only just started to nibble the wires so had not caused any issues yet but it was only a matter of time. Dancy stayed with my husband as he cleaned out the awful rat nest. They were both gagging, it smelled and was truly awful. We are so grateful to Dancy for alerting us to the situation and staying until it was resolved. He went above and beyond! Thank you!

I needed my kitchen faucet replaced. I had Parker and Sons come out Monday to give me an estimate. Over $400. to replace the faucet. I had 2 plumbers, with highly rated yelp reviews, in addition give me an estimate. The highest was $129. I called Parker and Sons after to question the inflated cost and was told a manager would call me back. It is a week later and no manager has called.

I called Parker and Sons back today and asked them about the inflated quote and lack of a managers return call and they said a manager did try to call one time and closed the case because they could not reach me. NO manager called as no voice mail was left nor caller ID from Parker and Sons was on either my landline or cell phone. They were given both numbers. I would not recommend Parker and Sons. There are too many qualified and highly rated plumbers out there that actually care about your business.

Last Friday I spent the morning at an Urgent Care because my wife was having trouble breathing. Saturday she was exhausted and asked me to turn on the AC to cool down the house and it shut right off. I tried turning the AC on a few more times then realized we had a problem. So I called Parker and Sons, and they were great! They were professional and scheduled a technician to come out the very next day. Sunday, the technician arrived. Chris was great!

He was polite, professional and knowledgeable!e! He showed us pictures and videos of our unit and explained his diagnosis. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. He went over options with us ranging from repairing the unit to replacing it. We decided to replace the unit and we're happy with the financing option we chose. The installation was scheduled for Wednesday and we were very pleased with the quick turn around.

The installation technicians showed up as schedule. Ivan and Elijah were great! Again, very polite, professional and knowledgeable. They went over, in detail, how the installation was going to work. Upon completion, Ivan reviewed the work completed with me. showing me pictures of the installed unit. Again, showed patience as I asked questions about programming and using the new thermostat.

From start to finish, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Parker and Sons without any hesitation! We had very little down time and a huge thank you to your entire team! Great work and great customer service service!

With the multitude of HVAC dealers to choose from, it's hard to decide which one will not let you down. I chose Parker and Sons due to many five star reviews and their long-term partnership with Costco. After making an appointment, "Adam" came to our house and made recommendations and estimated a replacement cost for our HVAC system. Adam is experienced and professional.

He answered our questions and found the perfect system for us. He promised installation within 48 hours. Adam handled all the paper for product registration, rebates from APS and Costco and all other documentation. All I had to do was sign the contract and Adam did the rest. On our appointment date, the installers, "Rito" and "Jesse" arrived exactly on time at 7am.

The entire HVAC system was installed in about 8 hours. Rito and Jesse were courteous and professional at all times. Our units and parts were delivered on schedule, Noise and dust were minimal and clean-up was amazing. By looking at our house afterwards, you'd never know we had a major project completed. Our system works perfectly and we're 100% satisfied. I highly recommend Parker & Sons.

Had David come out to do my winter heat pump check. He was very thorough in his inspection and found an issue that required immediate attention. He talked me through the various options and based on his experience and knowledge, we arrived at the best solution to resolve the problem. He went the extra mile by making sure I knew what specific things to request in order to make my repair come out just right. We have used Parker and Sons for many items at our house and always appreciate their quality customer service - way to go!

If you are even considering a water softener/conditioner and Reverse Osmosis filtration system 'consider the tech and install'. After we ordered from Parker and Sons we had no idea who would install. We were assigned Paul, an excellent and well trained technician that arrived promptly, was communicative and 'quiet' and from start to completion - worked super meticulous and efficient.

Not a dust bunny was left. : no trace of install but for a clean under the sink and a quite attractive main unit in garage. I highly recommend Parker and Sons, with the Costco purchase confidence and the excellent install team it makes it easy to highly recommend Bryan and Paul and team. Paul- thanks so much! I'm glad I found Parker & Sons! They provide multiple services. I first used them in Aug 2021 when my air-conditioner stopped working. They were able to fix it the same day (critical in summer time Phoenix, right?!). This week, I had a toilet emergency. Again, they were able to fix it within a day. Saul, the plumber, was EXCELLENT! He was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional.

It was expensive but it was a price I was willing to pay for next day emergency replacement of a broken toilet. I would recommend Parker & Sons without reservation to anyone. If you have the same experience that I've had, you won't be disappointed

In this economy, Parker and Sons were professional, responsive and quickly got our gas pipes in for a new gas range. Leonardo was great and I was impressed that they had everything done within 1 week of putting down the deposit. Leonardo was also very experienced and had some great thoughts to minimize any intrusive construction. Highly recommend.

Made an appointment for 8-10am. Technician did not show up. Missed a call from them at 4pm. Called back and they said they cancelled the appointment because I didn't answer. Super frustrating because I blocked off my morning to be available for the appointment and because I don't answer my phone while I'm in a work meeting (6 hours later), they cancel. What a joke! I'll go somewhere else.

My water softener failed and started dumping water out the over flow. So I contacted Parker and Sons to check it out. After looking at options with them I decided to get a new water softener and also have the old piping and valves outside my garage replaced as the water pressure coming into my house was too high. Issac Nieves, the tech that did the work, really did a superior job.

He worked 7 1/2 hours doing everything and didn't even take a break! Parker and Sons is not the least expensive company around the Scottsdale area but they do great work.

Horrible. They charge ridiculous prices for work that is very simple. Wanted over $1000 to install two easy install bath faucets that I had purchased. I did it myself in less than and hour. They seem to have very arbitrary pricing but such a ripoff!

I had a potential nightmare scenario, plumbing in the house backing up, had to shop vacuum water to prevent damage. Called Parker and Sons for help. Taz showed up that day to snake the main line of the home and cleared out what looked like roots. Crisis averted so far. They then have a complimentary camera inspection and pinpointed the intrusion, 5' of roots in my drain line.

The NEXT DAY they had a backhoe out to dig up the line, remove the roots, and fix it the right way. I don't believe they were the cheapest but I got what I paid for and I don't have to fear a flood for many years to come.

We have been customers for years. I do not understand the other reviews about the pricing. Electrical work, plumbing etc is expensive no matter where you go. I have never had a problem with Parker and Sons. We had our hot water heater serviced and while I forgot the tech's name, he was excellent, answered questions and cleaned up after he was done. Thanks Parker and Sons. Keep up the good work.

They installed my A/C unit and, after my most recent experience, I am convinced I paid too much. I was having issues with my pool pump and wanted to get an estimate on upgrading my electrical panel. They will not give out an estimate over the phone. Electrician came out, tested systems, and said that the electrical line was cut to the pump and quoted $3000 to dig up and replace line.

I asked about routing line in conduit on block wall, was told it would be same price. Another electrician quoted $200 to run line through existing PVC pipe underground. That's a $2800 difference. The line didn't need to be replaced because it turns out the pump is dead. To recap: misdiagnosed problem, quote that was 1000x more than the solution would cost by another licensed electrician, and no estimate before visit. The only thing I would call Parker and Sons for is the service work on A/C that is covered.

I woke up to water in the garage, coming from a leaking water heater. It was Christmas Eve. My usual plumber couldn't help me. I tried a couple of independent plumbers without luck. Parker & Sons had a plumber out in about 2-3 hours. He had to get a water heater from the warehouse and then installed it. Excellent work. Good brand of water heater.

The reason for only 2 stars was the cost. My old water heater (6 years old and same size and brand) cost 1/3 (parts & labor) compared to what Parker & Sons charged me. What can you do on Friday, Christmas Eve, but pay the exorbitant cost? I understand inflation, but a new unit costing 3 times more in just 6 years? The installation was not complicated either.

We needed a plumbing inspection for a permitting issue. Tried going through a local inspector first. Parker & sons came out promptly did what we needed and that day we had our form for the final inspection. If there is a next time, Definitely will go through Parker first.

I called Parker & Sons for and estimate on my water pressure gauge and to look at my water heater. Danny Voica came over and talked to me in a way I was able to understand. He gave me a great price for everything and I said just do it. He did an outstanding job explained everything to me and I am very happy. I called the office to let them know what a great job Danny did and Dean Parker who I spoke with was fantastic as well. I wanted to sign up for their service plan. I got the plumbing and air conditioning plan. I feel like I can sleep soundly knowing they are a 24/7 company.

We got a brand new A/C about a year and a half ago. When we got it done Parker and Sons was fast and efficient. They had great customer service. There was a man available to talk over the loan right at our house. No inconvenience of having to go out of our way. They have done yearly check up and winterizing. They called me to set up appointments. Very convenient. I highly recommend Parker and Sons.

Great service on the front end. That would be the end where you pay. During installation I called sales agent to ask if A/C unit was used as it was scratched and sides were bent. I was told he would have a supervisor come to check it out. That was Thursday. Today after several conversations with staff I was told someone would come in 2 weeks to check it out.

The unit works fine but clearly not a new air conditioner. The fact that someone wasn't sent over to check it out leads me to believe they are shilling used equipment and don't feel compelled to make it right. Today I realized the wooden hide that I had built was not assembled correctly and must be re-built in order to avoid collapse. This is no way to treat customers and while I have 10 vouchers for maintenance, I would rather pay my old independent guy to keep it running. If this unit isn't either replaced with a new one or discounted we will more than likely be headed to court.

On July 2, 2021 my 4-year-old air conditioner quit working. One installed by Parker and Sons. The leaking coil, that was still under warranty, was located and I was told I would have to pay for the labor. How much, I asked. $2410.00 I was quoted. Another company replaced the coil and charged me $$1808.00 for the coil AND the labor. It took 2 1/2 hours to replace it. If you are thinking of using Parker and Sons, know that you will be charged almost $1000 AN HOUR for labor. Personally, I was shocked.

Josh Burk was my service person today. He was on time and quickly diagnosed the issues with my kitchen faucet. My home is 30-35 yrs old and so is the plumbing. Josh is a great communicator. He is warm, friendly, witty, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He is a true professional who made sure that I was kept informed as to what steps needed to be taken, as he discovered them.

He was very attentive and wanted to be sure I was comfortable with his tasks. He did have to purchase new parts, for my repair and did so willingly. He was very concerned about not creating a mess and was most intent on returning the contents that belong under this sink to their storage area. I am truly impressed and commend Josh as well as his employers at Parker and Sons. He is a fantastic role model for all service/repair personnel. JOB WELL DONE! Peggy Storrs

I needed to get some work done on a new build. The painting crew worked their part of the job AFTER the electrical crew did during construction, so all the wires inside the boxes were WHITE! Right away, I knew I needed a real electrician, not me with a wire tester and grasping at which wire's the neutral. Parker & Sons set up an appointment within a week and when Andrew showed up, he quickly sized up the job, gave me an estimate, and he was done wiring up my timer switches for my outdoor lights within 40 mins.

He was really friendly, very transparent in explaining what he would be doing and he even gave me some advice on some DIY I have planned. If I need home services, Parker & Sons will be my first call.

Parker & Scams are SCUMBAGS. Let's see: * Charged me $2,000 to come out and "fix" my A/C unit * When it literally froze into a block of ice the very next day (some "fix", yeah?), they charged me another $700 just to come out and tell me I should replace it * Then quoted me $20,000 freaking dollars to replace the A/C unit with a new one! Which, based on the other reviews here, may have been low-quality and poorly installed. * I did the smart thing and called someone else.

A top-of-the-line replacement was possible for $9,200 installed (less than half of Parker & Scams). * P.S. they know exactly what they're doing because they refused to put the $20k quote in writing. Probably sensed that I was going to forward it straight to the AZ attorney general (I still might, actually). As it happens, my property manager is female, and I seriously wonder if the $20k estimate was just an extremely unethical attempt to take advantage of her (see: mechanics et al.) Stay FAR, FAR away from these guys, unless you love being scammed and want to sell a kidney to pay for your new A/C unit.

I reached out Parker and Sons after reaching out to a couple of other AC companies to fix my AC unit that was blowing warm air instead of cold. They quickly diagnosed my issue after some of the other companies couldn't get a lock off my unit. They went above and beyond and my technician Marcos was very well skilled and knowledgeable. Corporate reached out to ask about my experience, which is nice as it means they are open to feedback. Overall, a great experience and will continue to do business in the future!

What can I say about Parker and Sons? Well, they are truly the best. Last year I had my plumbing and A/C replaced at my home and they have been absolutely amazing. I don't feel overcharged, that I'm treated very respectfully and that I can call on them anytime for help. I recommend them often and all the time to clients and friends and really value their thoroughness.

I have been using Parker & Sons for several years now and have been very pleased with their professional and friendly services on my air conditioning and heating. Yesterday i found that my heating was not functioning properly and within 40 minutes of my late afternoon call I had a serviceman on my roof fixing my problem which turned out to be a blown capacitor of some type.

He went up and down the ladder serval times and had the problem diagnosed and fixed with 30 minutes. The new part and labor were all under warranty! I did not have to pay a thing!
