I called JT Mechanical after a maintenance check by another company claimed we needed to replace the line set and coil due to leaks. I spoke with Jeff who was extremely helpful. He was able to arrange to have Chris come out the next morning to do a leak search and check the coil and other parts of the HVAC system. Chris saw and documented the areas of concern with the line on the outside near the a/c unit. Chris advised that Mike would be able to come out to replace that section of the line.

We were also aware that we needed a damper replacement and refrigerant added to the system. Within 48 hours of first contact everything is working well. Their service was prompt and their pricing was fair for all work. JT Mechanical has earned my trust.

I've used bigger name companies in the area in the past and techs would come out and play the guessing game until it was fix and unfortunately the consumer eats that bill. I went with a smaller company this time and let me just say I wish I had found JTM sooner. Chris was knowledgeable of my system, got right to the source of issue, explained everything and had it working in 2.5 hours. He was honest and he owned the customer experience and I will definitely be saving this number for future use.

We truly had no idea what was going on with our AC other than it wasn't cooling. Called and spoke with Jeff early in the morning and a tech was out the same morning earlier than forecast! He was great and truly looked over the system. While we were fearing the worst, he said he thought it only needed a bit of refrigerant. What a relief! He could have told us the system needed to be replaced or other costly repairs, but he was honest and now has a customer for life. We will definitely call later in the summer to check out our heating unit and then again next spring for an AC check. Definitely an honest and professional company!

My AC unit's fan would not turn on. Chris, the technician from JT Mechanical, diagnosed the problem in less than 15 minutes to a failed capacitor. He had a replacement part available and changed it. The AC started blowing cold air right away. He also checked the freon pressure on the outside unit and the reading was good. Excellent job! Honest professional work. Used JT Mechanical for years now, performing routine upkeep and maintenance. I credit them for extending the life of my old units. Highly recommend. They just finished installing a new heat pump and air handler unit in my house that is going to replace 18 year old equipment. They performed quality work at a more than reasonable price. Brand names are pretty much the same, what makes the difference is the installation. I have them booked to come back and install a second heat pump for my downstairs.

After calling and leaving a message that my heat pump was not working properly I received a call back that a technician could be at my home immediately. Chris and Rick arrived within a half hour, diagnosed that my heat strip was bad and fixed the problem within an hour. They then diagnosed and verified the rest of my system in good working condition. I'd been fixing for awhile to replace our downstairs package unit, replace our upstairs split system, and replace damaged ductwork in the crawlspace. Because this was a significant investment, I spent a good amount of time researching equipment and contractors, and eventually decided to work with JT Mechanical. Now, nearly a month later, I feel good about the decision.

I was impressed with every part of the experience. Jeff took the time to answer my questions and presented a detailed and easy-to-understand quote that listed precisely what I was getting. Mike and the crew did a superb job on the installation and cut absolutely no corners. In fact, the city inspector was impressed with the results. This was my second time using JT Mechanical. Both experiences have been fantastic. I have an aging HVAC system that stopped blowing cold air. I called JT Mechanical and they were able to send someone out the following morning. The tech quickly identified and repaired the issue, which was a wire that was resting against part of the outside unit and had been cut due to vibration of the unit.

The tech replaced the wire and rerouted it in a different manner to ensure this issue didn't happen again. I will certainly be using JT Mechanical in the future. Thank you very much.

When the upstairs AC started showing its age this past summer I did the customary shopping around for a "good" HVAC contractor. I am difficult to please and have an eye for detail - After meeting Jeff I had a sense JT Mechanical were the way to go. Were they cheapest bid, no, but neither were they the most expensive. In the end they proved to be the best value though.

They showed a genuine interest in making sure the right system was chosen and had a stellar reputation for their installation work. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Everything is centered and aligned, wires and pipes are straight and neat, clearly they take pride in their workmanship. They were punctual, polite, and neat. Everything worked correctly as soon as the breakers were switched back on.

This is the First time I have use an air conditioning service I'm so glad I called JT Mechanical! The service techs were on time to the minute and went right to work. Super courteous and helpful with tips for keeping my home cool. Luckily this was just a system check and I didn't need a repair. If I did need further work, I wouldn't hesitate to call them.

Husband called them and before he could even finish one sentence, they cut him off and told him the techs went home at 4:30. Wow! Don't know how this company got the #1 spot with that kind of customer service.

I called at 7:30am two days after Christmas because my heating system was working erratically. They set up an appointment for me the same day at 10am. They showed up on time, found a problem that didn't require a part replacement and charged a very reasonable amount. I would highly recommend these guys for HVAC repairs.

I'm very impressed! We bought a new house in January this year, and were told by the house inspector and builder to get the AC checked when it is warmer. It is warmer, so I called JT Mechanical, as they had very good Yelp ratings. They were on time, did way more than I expected for no extra charge, gave me suggestions, and answered all my questions. David, the tech who came out, was professional and pleasant, and put covers on his shoes before coming inside the house.

I noticed a couple of low ratings for this company. I don't know the circumstances of these situations but to me they certainly seem like suspicious ratings to say the least on behalf of the customer that left them. I'm here to say that if you want first rate services and knowledge far superior then anyone in the area you need to call JT Mechanical.

I would never let anyone else touch my heating and air conditioning unit. Simply put JT is the BEST in the area and don't let anyone tell you differently. If he's busy and you have to wait a couple days trust me it's worth the wait. Don't let anyone else work on your unit except JT and his team, trust me!

Our AC system has been struggling for the past 2 years and finally died. We got 3 estimates and went with JT's even though it wasn't the cheapest. (All 3 estimates were within a few hundred dollars.) We went with company for a few reasons. First, it's family owned, and the owner Jeff and the technicians Mike, Dave and Dave took the time to answer all of our questions as well as keeping us updated through every step of the process.

We also appreciated the lack of high pressure sales tactics. They were professional, friendly and took extra care protecting our floors and house in general. They were also very timely when they came out to check our unit and when Jeff came out for the estimate. Once we decided on JT's, they started the same day. We heard that Mike is the best technician in the area, and it was definitely NOT an exaggeration. He told us he was a little OCD, and that showed through the work. I will recommend this company to everyone. The before and after pictures speak for themselves.

Called at 5 PM and they were able to come the next morning at 8:30. On time and an easy repair. Very honest repairman, who I trusted. Highly recommended!

We had somebody from this company inspected my aunts house few weeks ago so we can get a quote for heating. After he inspected the house, he told us he will send a quote/ estimated cost thru my email but never did. They even moved the original appointment we had, supposedly Friday afternoon then they called me morning that same day that they won't be able to come, so basically it was a short notice.

The guy who inspected the house was not even approachable, like he just came in, started measuring things inside the house and etc. The big thing that made me really upset is, don't tell me you will send me email for a quote if you're not really going to. If they weren't able to or not comfortable installing heating system in the house he could have just emailed me atleast rather than keeping us waiting for nothing.

These Professionals are better than "as good as it gets". There were some serious warranty issues with my AC unit and I have to say JT Mechanical Co stepped up and took responsibility for whatever it took to make it right. MIKE is my main guy and he is so much more than wonderful at what he does. After snaking my old sewer line a few weeks ago, I asked them to repair/replace the clogged and broken section under the front yard. It was not a fun job and more damage than was anticipated was discovered. Not only was the repair done well, the care taken with the lawn, the replacement of the dirt, and the rest of the clean up was utterly professional.

Who needs Angie's List when you can have YELP for free. We returned home from vacation to a very cold house late on a Saturday evening. I let my fingers do some walking on the YELP pages and found JT Mechanicals to be well reviewed. Thank you Lance and Mary R. for making my decision easier. I got a call back within 2 minutes. I assured Jeff that we had a toasty fireplace and an electric blanket, we can wait until Monday am. He was punctual and came with very cute booties to cover his shoes. Jeff verified that my husband had done all the resets listed on the furnace properly and that we needed a new logic board, ugh. He then drove to the Trane Parts Store, brought it back and installed it.

We felt that the service and labor charges were on par with what we expected. Quick reply, fast service, punctual, neat and clean, fair price. What more could you want? His truck says Heating/Cooling/Plumbing.

Glad to see Jeff and the crew getting some positive reviews on yelp. I should have done this sooner, myself. A couple of months back we were have some furnace issues, so we called JT Mechanical. Jeff was out the next day and diagnosed several issues that needed to be addressed. What impressed me was that one part that needed to be replaced was under warranty and that saved me some money. However, I wouldn't have known that and only Jeff's honesty saved that money for me.

He easily could have charged me for that part. A week or so later, we had more issues and Jeff was out the same day. It turned out to be an easy fix (unrelated to the previous work) but Jeff's prompt service was again the thing that impressed me most. We were up and running in no time.
