I called because my sytem was out. Someone called me back and said that someone else call me. Nobody called me back waited a full day and its 90 degrees! So I called another place who stopped by with 2 techs and got me up and running with a new outside unit in 4 hrs

10/10! Words cannot describe how great of an experience I had with Jay's Heating & Cooling. I have never once seen such a commitment to the customer with any business I've dealt with before. This company went above and beyond to deliver exemplary service, and to take care of me in ways other companies wouldn't even consider! After this experience, they have earned a lifelong customer and good word of mouth with anyone I come across in the HVAC market. Really, this is why you choose local/small business.

If you come here for your HVAC needs, you will not be disappointed. So, I'm a new homeowner that spent a significant amount of time trying to research and choose the right company for the job at hand. After doing research on reviews, quality, cost, and more, Jay's seemed to be the clear winner. When the original tech came for his visit, I had a few problems and differences of opinion with his service + recommended course of action.

The situation left me a bit frustrated, so I decided to voice my concerns to the company. As soon as I did, Jay's was all over it. Not only did the owner himself reach out to me to make sure that every concern I had was addressed properly, but he personally assisted in a resolution and made sure his team went above and beyond to take care of me. We went from basic maintenance, to repair on my old heat pump, finally to installation of a completely new HVAC system.

At this point, I've spent a lot of time working with many different members of this team. I can happily recommend Jay's to anyone out there both commercial and residential. Not only are the prices competitive and some of the best you'll find around, but the office is extremely well managed and easy to work with, the team is very well rounded, strong, and capable, and most importantly, the owner is beyond reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, an all-around great guy I would certainly work with again.

Special shout out to one of the techs, Anthony. Anthony showed up for an emergency call and was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He made sure I felt that all of my concerns were heard and that I was 110% happy before he walked out of that door. Special shout out to one of the installers, Paul. He showed up part of a team to replace my entire HVAC system.

The new system works great but why I included him specifically was because not only was he also very kind and a hard worker, but he was very respectful, checked in with the wife and I multiple times throughout the day, and before leaving made sure that he took the time to test the new system and to address not some, but every one of our many questions and concerns.

Taylor did two tune-ups on each of my units today and gave me a lot of great information. My systems use the old R22 refrigerant and he recommended against adding more because of the expense and the small difference it would make in the cooling performance. He was very thorough and professional. Only using Jay's from now on!

We've used these guys twice for complete HVAC replacement and once for a repair and they are prompt, professional and have reasonable prices. I highly recommend these guys.

We've have used Jay's Heating and cooling for both repairs and a new system installations. They are always very responsive and professional. The last repair was particularly challenging. Due to the current supply chain issues the part we needed was not available. The owner, Jason, personally came to our house and worked to get our system up and running again. I would definitely recommend Jay's!

Last year I got Jay's Heating and Air to come out to do a spring check up and cleaning on my AC unit. I also asked them to change the filters, which I had, because you have to have a tall ladder to reach my vents. The man was very nice, however, he did not clean the outside unit as I was told, he only used water, not the cleaning spray. I found out recently he even put one of my filters in backwards, so all of the dust and dirt went back into the vents.

No air was filtered through this vent at all. When I recently called about it, the lady said oh, well, we can send someone out this year to do a cleaning and check up and see if there was any damage. No mention of any discount or anything since the man last year did not perform their cleaning as stated. I was very disappointed and will not use them again in the future.

The only reason I used them was because of their good reviews here. I was not even told there would be an additional 3 plus % charge to use a credit card. This is a Revised review. I received a call from the owner, Jason, regarding my review. He offered to come out and check everything for me at no charge. Wow, was he wonderful. He explained everything about my unit, what it needed, did the checks, outside and inside, cleaned the hoses, advised me about the filters, even gave me a new roll of tape to use on the inside unit.

He was extremely nice, and spent a lot of time going over everything. I really appreciate Jason calling me to ask if there was some way to resolve the above issues. His calling me, as he is the owner, represents how he concerned he was regarding what had happened. I wish every business took the time, like Jason, to contact the customer and see if there was anything they could do to resolve any issues. I will continue to be a customer and refer him to my friends and acquaintances. Thank you Jason.

New customer, was recommended by a person who did some work on my house. Heat pump died during snow storm. Called Jay's Heating and Air on Sunday. He answered, told me he would call back Monday Morning. He did call Monday morning, came out that afternoon for estimate which was very reasonable. New heat pump installed on Friday. I am very pleased with the service I received from this company and would highly recommend him

We had a failed 17 year old AC system. It was a Lennox system and Lennox was not shipping coils due to COVID. I had contacted four other companies for estimates to repair my AC. They all told me that a Lennox system could only be fixed with Lennox parts. I found out that was not true. They all were pushing replacement of the entire furnace and AC system, and many would not even do that unless they also replaced all the duct work in the house!

We are planning to sell the house next March and did not want to have to replace the entire furnace and AC unit. Jay actually saved me money by suggesting keeping the working furnace, which still had three years left on the heat exchanger warranty, by just replacing the coil and compressor for the AC section. He also suggested that to sell the house and give the buyer some sense of security when buying a house with a 17 year old furnace, that we just buy a home warranty for a year that would cover the furnace. He was very quick to respond to all of my emails with my many questions. The install crew were very pleasant people. And cleaned up all the construction debris.

Our heat quit working Monday morning, and we contacted Jay's later that day, but they were not able to get someone out until first thing Tuesday due to availability. We had another Heating/Cooling company local to Raleigh come on Monday who quoted us close to $1200 in repairs and suggested other large fixes after inspecting the unit. With such a high price tag, we thankfully had Jay's lined up for a second opinion.

Our Jay's technician arrived on Tuesday and was able to fix our unit in under 30 minutes letting us know that all it needed was to be cleaned and some other minor preventative maintenance issues at a much smaller, flat free price of $125 which restored the heat in our house, not as a band-aid, but as the only servicing that was actually needed. Our technician was knowledgeable, polite, explained everything in easy to understand terms and did not try to upcharge us in any way. I would highly recommend Jay's for any HVAC related needs, and they've earned a customer for life out of us.

Used Jay's Heating and Cooling to install a gas line from my attic to my laundry room and the estimate was a third of the plumber's quote so it was an easy decision. I am glad I went with Jay's! Taylor gave me a heads up call to let me know he would be arrive soon, very courteous and professional! The two gentlemen who installed the line were also on time and very professional. Having interacted with Jay on multiple occasions, he is extremely knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend to everyone as I will call Jay's for any future needs.

Jay has serviced our HVAC every year. He and his staff are very professional and always prompt. When after 20 years in my house, I did need a new HVAC, Jay didn't push the highest priced one. He gave us his honest opinion and we had it installed in no time. He also gave us suggestions on how we can keep our own HVAC running perfectly so we won't have any issues in between visits. Its helped alot!

Can't recommend Jason and his company enough. He's provided fast responses to service calls and honest repairs at great prices at more than 20 properties for me over the course of the last 5 years. This stellar response time and service includes inclement weather when we've had snow/ice events and during the hottest days of summer. He is my go-to for HVAC services in Raleigh, and I'm glad I found him and his business as early as I did!

They came out and have us a quote almost 2k less then someone else, and about a month later when they realized one of the part installed had a factory fault they worked with us on the time and for it done (all covered under warranty of course). Very courteous workers, specially Felix who we worked with the most.

Absolutely Amazed at the service I received today. My HVAC system wasn't spinning. I thought I might need a whole new HVAC and would have believed it if that was what I was sold. Luckily I called Jay's and they told me that I just had a faulty capacitor. I was prepared to be quoted something outrageous, but there price was more than reasonable. Great service!

Our a/c died on a very hot Sunday afternoon. We contacted our regular HVAC guy who was not able to come out until Friday. That wasn't gonna work, so Monday morning I used Yelp to help me find and contact another company. Jason emailed me withing 30 minutes offering to come out Tuesday afternoon. That made us REALLY happy. Taylor followed up with scheduling and letting us know his status 30 minutes before arrival.

He not only fixed our a/c problem, but checked the entire system and gave us some advice about how to maintain it. The charge for this was less expensive than we expected. We are delighted with the company's quality work, reasonable cost and the hard-working local owners. It's also terrific to work with a locally owned business that gets their work via referrals instead of the national companies that get their work based on advertising and marketing. Jay's HVAC is on our list for future work AND referrals.

Jason came out and installed an ecobee for me. Not only did he get the job done quickly and right, but he provided me with great tips and info on how to maintain my very old hvac. As a first time home buyer, I greatly appreciated this and it really showed me what an honest and trustworthy company this is. I'll for sure need to replace my hvac in the near future and I'm thankful I can give Jason a call and trust that I can get it done right for a very reasonable price.

Used Jay's twice for A/C repairs! Both times they were able to visit next day, found the problem within a 1/2 hour, and were able to get the A/C working again! We appreciate it during these hot summer days!

We had a really hard time with our new system for the better part of a year. We finally got out of our service contract and called Jay to take a look. He was only at our house for a few minutes when he found the problem and fixed it. Turns out the company we had been using had our system programmed wrong. Haven't had an issue since. Jay was courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and affordable. Would highly recommend.

Called at 3 pm Monday when upstairs AC stopped cooling and the owner, Jason, was here by noon the next day, even though I called him back and told him "no rush" because the AC had started working after turning it off and back on again. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and very clearly explained steps to keep it from reoccurring. All this despite the fact I called him out of the blue, having never done business with him before. And to top it all off he gave me a fridge magnet! Another satisfied customer.

I have never reviewed a company, but really wanted to for the service I received. My AC went out on a Friday and I called several companies that could not visit until Monday. I contacted Jay's Saturday morning (by finding it on Yelp) and was hoping for same day service since it was reaching 90 degrees. They contacted me very soon after and they were able to make a visit the same day.

They kept me informed as to when they would stop by and, when Taylor arrived, he was very nice and polite. Thankfully, all I needed was freon. Freon for my older unit is pretty pricey but is the standard cost from all the companies I called. The service fee was $75 and he was in and out of my condo within 10 minutes. Overall, great service and speed. I will certainly use Jay's again if needed.

Jason was recommended from a friend. I called in the evening and he was there the next afternoon. He called 30 minutes beforehand so I could leave work and meet him. The first thing Jason did was show me a few setting on my thermostat that would save me lots of money on my heating bill. Then he went to check out my broken AC. He said I actually needed an electrician because the problem with my AC had to do with the breaker.

He immediately set up an appointment with the electrician and they were there within the hour. Jason then did the maintenance service on my AC (which was needed - it had been a few years) and charged a very reasonable price. My AC was up and running and well maintained by 5 that day. Thanks Jason!

I heard of Jason about 3 years ago from a local community board. My AC wasn't working in my rental property and I called Jason. I shopped around and his prices were good, in addition he was able to get out to my rental the next day and fixed the issue. Since that day I've called him to help out every year and he's been on top of it.

His team is very responsive and has not failed me yet. This year I had to replace my entire AC and again Jason and team did a great job. He was honest, gave me a good price and didn't try to oversell me. The entire process was painless and I definitely recommend him!

Great service & reasonable prices. Very prompt service as well, we called at 8a & they arrived by 11a. Consumers have to be careful when it comes to HVAC because some companies will give you false diagnoses to increase the costs. The techs at Jay's are very trustworthy and showed me everything that needed repaired.

I have had them over twice to service my a/c unit and I feel confident that they are not out to take advantage of the customer. Response times are excellent. The technician used everything in his arsenal to fix my problem and the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to call them again and highly recommend them to everyone.
