Paul S. Hobaica founded Hobaica?s Refrigeration in 1952 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the son of immigrants from Syria, Lebanon. He came to Phoenix at 6 months old, graduated from St. Mary's Grade School and High School while selling newspapers downtown Phoenix. At 18 he joined the Army and fought in World War II. After the war he took classes under the GI bill in refrigeration and business at Phoenix College. He had purchased some apartments and managed them while working a regular job.

Family members now include three 3rd generation Hobaica's, working their way up though the ranks. They are learning the family traditions of their grandfather and the importance of always treating the customer right. Just as their father and uncles learned, they are being groomed with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.

We use flat rate pricing so that our customers know what their investment will be before the work begins. As a family operation, our name is always on the line to provide top performance with honesty and integrity.
