Hillside Heating & Air Conditioning We are a family run business whose primary goal is excellent customer service. Our employees do not work on commission. We feel that this keeps our work honest and to the point. Hillside is not a company that has a high turn over of employees or customers. We put our contract customers first and do not take on work that would affect our ability to offer fast and reliable service. In keeping with the idea of reliability we do not hire untrained personnel before summer and then lay them off during the winter.

This means that our technicians are experienced with our buildings and the way in which we conduct business. We maintain our crew of technicians and installers throughout the year. Hillside trains our new hires (experienced / inexperienced) for three to six months with a journeyman before they are allowed to perform work on their own. We take pride in our work and if there is a problem as a result of our workmanship or material, we will resolve the problem in a professional and expedient manner.

I am very disappointed with Hillside. I called them on a early Thursady morning and spoke to Stephanie. I needed my air conditioner to be serviced. I was told the Technician would arrive between 10 am and 12 pm., which I thought was great. About 11, I called and was told by Laura the tech. was delayed, so he would arrive between 2 pm and 4 pm. I proceeded to call Hillside about 3 to make sure the tech. was still arriving. Laura told me the tech. was stuck on a job and would not be able to make it after all. Laura asked me if I would agree to a service call for Friday morning and she said I would be the first service call of the day.

The tech. would arrive between 8 am and 10 am. However Friday morning when I called to make sure the tech. was coming to my house. Stephanie answered and told me the tech. would not be available until 2 pm to 4 pm. That was upsetting, so I canceled and got serviced from a different company. I had to cancel appointments on both days.

Called Hillside after seeing a truck drive by in my neighborhood. When I called the customer service was fantastic, quick and answered all my questions. They had no problems scheduling me as soon as possible and made me feel like a priority. Even provided a free estimate with my replacement! The tech that arrived to my house was professional, friendly and knowledgeable about all things HVAC, and kept me in the loop the whole time he was working.

Plus any questions I had he gave me a full and helpful answer. I went in today to drop off payment for their service and I must say I was so happy to find out that they are a family owned company and why I got treated as such. The staff was friendly and greeted me promptly. Definitely will be continuing a contract for routine maintenance with them and referring them to as many people as I can in the future. Thank you!

This is an absolutely amazing company! We had our ac unit changed last month. Their work is impeccable. The manager Greg and his staff are very efficient, very courteous, friendly, and experts at what they do. They are the best in the business.and of course their price is right.

I called twice to get a price for a maintenance. Both times no one answered and there was no return phone call for either of my messages. Poor customer service.

AC went out at the beginning of the week, called several company's and because its the middle of the summer, had to wait a few days hillside was the first to respond, and I'm so glad it was. They arrived in the time scheduled window, and within 15 minutes told me what the problem was. but didn't have the part! so I'm thinking another week to order the part, no the tech got on the phone, located the needed part, drove and picked it up, and fixed the problem, AC working like a charm.

I thought he told me the the part was $260, what the heck right, need the cool air in the middle of summer. So I was expecting a $500 or $600 dollar bill, no, I misunderstood, the total bill with part was $260. Its nice to know that when a company could basically charch you what they want, honesty shines through. I will never call another company for my AC or heating needs. 5 Stars all the way.

We recently had the unfortunate experience of losing our air conditioner in the middle of a summer heat wave. The 3rd day of no air was 108 degrees, and sent us running to the Mission Inn for sweet relief. Then came Hillside to the rescue! Walt and his guys Jacob and Ralph we knowledgeable, professional and worked in a clean and thorough manner. I'm usually uncomfortable with strangers in my home, but these guys left the place pin neat!

They were competitively priced, and the job was done to perfection! I would highly recommend them for your heating or air conditioning needs. You won't find a better crew out there!
