Definitive Air has been a great company to work with for my air conditioner! Mike helped me with selecting a new a/c unit that would meet my cooling needs last year, and he was very professional, punctual, and efficient. The install went smoothly, and Mike presented me with the information I needed regarding the warranty. Fast forward a year later on the hottest day of the year (so far!) in AZ - one of my capacitors went bad in the heat (my unit sits on a flat roof) and Mike was quick to make it out to my house in the time frame stated, and fixed the issue within minutes.

Service is always excellent, but this time it went above and beyond. When our AC stopped blowing cool air on a hot Sunday afternoon, we fully expected to suffer through the night. We called just to get on the schedule for a weekday, but he was nice enough to come out that evening to work on our AC and get it running again! Problem solved in just a few hours.

Called in the morning. Arrived 30 minutes later worked on my AC went above and beyond to find out if the part was still in warranty. Called later to find out how it was working came back to make it a comfortable temperature until we can get the part. I am so thankful for the honesty and service I received. Would definitely recommend if needing AC/Heating work done. I will continue to use this company for any work I need done. So impressed and grateful for honest and good people running companies.

We have used Definitive Air for some years now. It's refreshing to only pay for legitimately needed maintenance/repairs. Mike is very honest, quick & friendly. He recently came out on a Sunday after our Heat pump continued to struggle. No charge as this was a follow up. We had a very overpriced rip off company out years ago so I was wary at first. But no more; assured very good service at reasonable price. No hidden or trip charges.

We've been using Definitive Air for the last couple years for preventive maintenance. Whenever there's a problem, one call is made and they are right out here to take care of it. They were recommended to us by family members. And when they're out here working, we're treated like family members. Highly recommend them for any ac service!

I called Mike around noon and asked him to come look at our air conditioner at our new home. We knew it was old but just wanted a check-up on it. He said that he would be here that afternoon and he did show up just as he said. He then checked our air conditioner and told us to use it until it died and we will. He was honest but didn't try to shove a new air conditioner down our throat. I was totally pleased with Mike and his company.

Mike and Carol never cease to amaze us. Started with them when we moved here 6 years ago. You will never find a more honest, knowledgeable HVAC company. We had a faulty unit and he was here so quickly, analyzed the issue, had the parts on his rig, fixed it and we were cooled off in a short time. At 106 outside, the house warms up quickly. Mike can detect the problem, fix it, be economical and most important, HONEST! They are in it for the long haul and when it's time to replace our units, DA will be our choice to do the job.

Excellent! We were getting ready to entertain an event, and, of course, we experienced a complication with a leaky central air conditioner! Yikes! It was leaking all over the room! Oh no the thought of being without air conditioning would be a disaster in 112 degree day! But, within 20 minutes, Mike from Definitive Air shows up and jumps to action and within an hour had fixed the problem!

He is honest, experienced, kind and very fair priced! We are thrilled! Meanwhile, the other company that was contacted by another family member, wanted the same amount of money to simply diagnose the problem and was upset to find out that the problem was already fixed. Needless to say, we will be using Definitive Air for all our Air Conditioning/HVAC needs! We are very happy with their prompt, professional and very reasonable price!

Mike is the best guy. Top Notch Work. Our AC went out last night woke up this morning to good ole warm AZ. I called Mike and left a message at 6AM. He called back in like 5 minutes. Amazing. He came out and fixed the AC within and hour had us up and running. Our AC is back up and running for the hot summer. Thanks Mike again great job. 120F today.

We have used this company for many years and they are always quick, honest and never up sell anything. The best in the east Valley!

Ethical, honest, and reliable all words I would use to describe Mike. My air conditioner started making weird grinding noises. My parents recommended I call a company that I will not name, the repair person told me my fan and another part needed to be replaced and quoted me over $900 to do it. I called around to at least 10 other companies to get quotes; all of them jerked me around either playing games (asking for extreme detail like did I want 110 degree ball bearings or 180 degree ball bearings on a simple part) or flat out refusing to give quotes.

The quotes I got were around $600-$800. I called Mike and he was no nonsense, I told him what I needed and braced myself for the run around. Instead he simply told me "Oh that's a flat fee" and quoted me substantially less than all of the other companies. He came out within several hours (during peak heat season no less!) was pleasant and professional and fixed my unit.

He also told me that he thought I could get another few years out of my 16 year old unit (the other company told me I'd be lucky to get a few months) I won't use another repair person ever again!

My AC was leaking through my ceiling so I needed it fixed ASAP. I called Mike and he was out here within 15 minutes. An hour later he had the problem resolved. That is what I call good service!

Called Definitive Air for a service on an A/C unit after reading all of the positive reviews. Set an appointment for this morning. No call nothing. He was a no show. I've already gone with another company. I even asked at the time of the call if my residence was within his service area, to which Mike said yes.

Definitive Air is the most honest, reliable AC company in the valley. They are reasonably priced, they never mislead you and they are the friendliest, nicest family I have ever met. This is a family run business, Mike does all of the work personally himself, and sometimes brings his son (or daughter) and his wife schedules the calls. She is so sweet. I trust this company to do all of my AC work and would refer them to anyone. Mike I such a great, honest guy. Love this company!

I called Definitive Air when our tenant phoned to report the larger downstairs A/C unit wasn't working. This happened on Tuesday this week when the temperature rose to 114 degrees. I was really impressed by the excellent service Mike provided when he arrived at the home within 15 minutes of my call at 5:30 pm. Mike replaced the bad capacitor and the unit was up and running within 30 min.

Our tenant was thrilled at the fast service and relieved when the home started cooling. From the moment I called to request service to paying the bill, I felt Mike was trustworthy and knowledgeable This was our first time to use this contractor and very highly recommended!

Wonderful company. Fast and honest work. highly recommended avoid all those big name companies ie George Brazil at all cost they will do nothing but over charge you with no remorse

I have used Mike and Definitive Air for more than 3 years now and their consistency, honesty and knowledge truly differentiate them from other AC contractors in the Phoenix area. Mike has also helped many of my friends who had their AC's die or suddenly turn off and were stranded with no heating or cooling. We called Definitive to do some preventative maintenance on our AC unit. We didn't require major repairs and Mike was honest and up front about it - he didn't try to sell us on any extras like you hear other companies try to do. Hope to spread the word that we finally found a trustworthy contractor!

I'm so glad I contacted Definitive Air. The first AC company I contacted wanted to charge twice as much to replace the blower motor in our heat pump. Mike responded to my email quickly with a quote for the work I needed, and I saved hundreds of dollars. Next time I have an AC problem, I'll be going to Definitive Air first.

Today we walked in to our business to find our A/C unit was out. We had an A/C issue this same time last year, and after our experience with the company we used previously (left old parts & trash on the roof, dawdled & charged us 3x what it should have cost to replace a blower motor), we were looking for someone with good reviews that was close to our location.

We are a family owned and operated business, so we prefer to hire businesses that are family owned as well whenever possible. Carol was extremely polite on the phone. The technicians were here in under an hour; the business we called previous to them quoted us a wait time of over 4 hours. They had the unit working in less than an hour, and it cost us less than $200. Overall the experience was great, and we will be calling them with any other problems we have in the future.

Pleasant experience from the beginning call for service. Polite and helpful with obvious knowledge of HVAC systems went out of their way to explain what they would do and what the cost would be. Arrived on time went about their business, no mess no fuss no bother just honest hard workers making sure my system was in good running order and answering all my questions about the system. Could not be happier with the service I received and recommend them highly.

Mike has been extremely helpful. After almost 2 decades in the Valley, we think we finally found our a/c service/repair provider. Latest job was too replace a compressor, our a/c is working like new!

Had some issues with our unit. Just quit in the morning. Mike was on site by the afternoon and had it fixed in no time. Will be calling Definitive Air any time I have AC/Heater issues.
