Updating my recent service as of 9/18/2020. I had Tommy do the service. A++++++. Incredible efficiency and professionalism! Incredible. i normally don't do many reviews but Cox is incredible and Tommy is one of a kind. Incredible company!

Cox is the model of customer service and caring for its customers. We have had a service contract with them since we owned our condo--about 6 year. We needed a new AC unit last year and working with them on the purchase was a pleasure. Sandy in the office is one of the best customer service reps you will meet. She and the company go out of their way to be fair with customers. All their service people are well trained and respectful of your home. They performed a regular service for us this morning.

Cox Heating and Air have the absolute best customer service! I trust them completely with our system, and have always been completely happy and satisfied with their prompt attention, compassionate staff, and professional service! I called this morning to ask for a service call to be scheduled to check our capacitor, as we've recently been hearing a "clunk". Our service was scheduled for same day, and our scheduler was so efficient and friendly. We were called when our tech Drew was on his way, which I really appreciate! Drew arrived on time and promptly got to work not only diagnosing the problem, but even teaching me a bit about what he was looking at.

I really appreciated it. He quickly fixed our issue and was courteous and professional the entire time he was here. I really appreciate this company, and wouldn't call anyone else.

Excellent customer service. Technicians are always punctual, friendly, and informative. I will always stay a Cox customer.

They installed A/C in 2005 and did a great job. Use them to complete repairs and maintenance. I had been given a quote of $85 to switch out the thermostat when they replaced the fan motor. When they new technician showed up the price went up to $147.00. Because of this only giving 4 stars this time Service: Thermostat installation

Cox Heating & Air Conditioning has been taking care of our HVAC needs for over 12 years. Last year we had them replace the old AC unit that came with the house. There were some bumps in the road concerning the new Carrier unit but Cox was very responsive and quickly responded to get the new unit "dialed in" and running efficiently. We have had the new unit for over 1 year and have experienced no problems.

They came out the same day I called which was wonderful because it got pretty hot in the house with out a working AC unit. Pricing was fair and the tech was cordial.

The motor in my heatpump stopped working on wednesday morning before Thanksgiving. They sent technician, he diagnosed problem being a failed condenser fan motor. Cox sent him to Carrier warehouse in Clearwater right away and he returned same day to repair. Service does not get any better than that. All of Cox service department are great!

So impressed! An A/C tech from another company preformed a service check this morning. He found nasty mold. Luckily a friend stopped by. The tech proposed purchasing an ultraviolet light to get rid of unhealthy mold. Our friend suggested a second opinion from Cox Air. Boy oh boy, did they deliver. Within the hour their tech arrived and assured us there was no mold. Provided a full inspection. Great business!

Some years back our A/C system was running long - about 45 minutes. We were sure that was wrong and were guessing that we needed to replace the system. The Cox tech came out and thoroughly checked the system. He told us that he thought a new thermostat would solve the problem. We were able to get two more years service from this elderly system and are so grateful to Cox that their service techs are not on commission as I understand many other companies are. I'm on the board of our condo and have recommended Cox to others many times. Barb Masson

Strange it has been a longtime since i have dealt with a straight forward salesman. He was no pressure and gave us a lot of knowledge on a new system.

After many years of using another well-known A/C company, I called Carrier for highest rated "President's Award" dealer in my area and discovered COX Air and had them come out and give me an estimate on new A/C system, which was at least a thousand less than prior company I was using. 1 Day installation, everything working and great! Since then, COX does great annual Maintenance and quick to respond to any perceived problem. All-in-all a Great A/C & Heating company!

Just bought an old house with a brand new AC installed last week by these guys. Called when it stalled, and they (Goni) came out within a couple of hours to flush about a century-worth of gunk from the lines. So efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Thank you Joe for going the extra mile! Our Commercial AC went out on a Friday afternoon - we are open 7 days a week. Joe realized we needed a part and at 3:45 most places were already closed for the weekend. He made 2 stops found the part and we had cool AC by 5:00pm. We are very happy with the many years of service Cox has provided for us!

We've been living in a home where the back of the house never got cool enough in the summer. We got rid of the company that we had used for service and called Cox. We were actually ready to buy a larger compressor. Their sales person, Kerry, listened to our problem, looked at the history of our current unit and decided to have someone get up in the. attic.

Long story short, 2 guys replaced and re-ran ductwork to the back of house. It is now delightfully cool and we no longer have a humidity problem. And the bill was incredibly reasonable beyond expectations. I can't believe the difference in comfort and outstanding service.

Would highly recommend Cox heating and air. Prompt scheduling, on time, clean and professional. Took time to explain the steps and needs of our service. Provided ongoing maintenance schedule for maintaining our system.

Cox air conditioning is a trustworthy, honest company that provides excellent service. My air handler went out at the peak of our warm season; Mike, Jo and Vinny took great care of us. They arranged to replace the air handler within 1 week and in the interim provided us a temporary cooling system which kept us comfortable. Their work was precise, . tidy and efficient completing the job in less than 2 days. Furthermore, their pricing was fair and competitive. They have always been honest and fair in their dealing with me. I bought my unit from them and they have been servicing it since. From the ladies in the office to the service men who work for them and with them, all are courteous and knowledgeable. They're about fair prices and good service. I highly recommend them.

As a homeowner who wants the job done right by a company who is committed to being the best, I couldn't be happier by choosing to go with Cox Air. This company takes pride in their trade and has proven they want to make their customers happy and comfortable. We had a totally new system installed several months ago. Kerri came out promptly and educated us about our home's cooling requirements.

We wanted new air handler, compressor, and all new ductwork. Bill and Marcus did our install and were always courteous, and working hard to get the job done right. Bill has been doing this type of work for a long time, and knew from experience, all the right things to do for our best possible install. After the install, we needed a few "tweeks" to get the system perfect for our comfort. Things that I totally accepted considering we were upgrading to a more efficient and up to date package, as well as a larger size duct work to accommodate our new air system.

One time I called because one of our new duct vents was making a crinkling sound when the air was on, and Chad quickly came out and located the problem and repaired it with a minor fix. Next was that I noticed our humidity level wasn't quite where I felt comfortable, and a tech came out and adjusted our air handler fan speed and our problem was corrected immediately. Recently, I noticed our son's room ( last room on an "L" shaped house), wasn't as cool as the rest of the house. Chad came out and adjusted our vents in the ceiling and baffles in the duct work, and explained the dynamics of air flow.

Our new system has always run perfectly as presented, and as I said, we only needed tweeking to make things perfect for our family. Even though this is their busy season, every time I've called, the office answers promptly and courteously, and schedules a visit immediately. Every person that we have come in contact with truly seems to care about providing the best customer service and follow-up to keep their customers comfortable. They obviously take pride in what they do, and I am happy to have found a company that is perfectly knowledgable about their trade and I am happy to refer to others.

From the moment I spoke to them, I knew they weren't all about money. They guided me and recommended a routine maintenance. Dan was excellent, straight to the point, no hard sales. I will definitely use this company again. Highly recommend them.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Cox. Kerri who came to give us an estimate patiently explained the different systems and gave us the best deal for two high end Carrier units along with Reme halos. The entire installation crew was wonderful and special mention to Patrick, the service manager and Eddie who was one of the technicians. In addition to the office staff, Ruth and Connie are so courteous, prompt and efficient. I am so glad to go with Cox and hope they keep up with their excellent services.

Wow. Just wow. The service that you provided was amazing. Hands down one of the best service in any small or large businesses that I have encountered. Even though it's just an A/C Company, they treat their customers like family. Responses to any customer questions are answered almost immediately and if they can't answer the question they will do research and reply within a timely manner with an accurate decision.

Their installation is as good as if they were installing in their own home. I had to get a full A/C replacement in my home and the process went as smooth as butter. Upper management even came by to check up on the installation and made sure I was satisfied. The Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend for all A/C needs, even if it's just a routine cleaning or maintenance.
