We used Cool Kids when our AC was struggling over the last couple of years. They never pushed us to get a new unit and in fact, encouraged us to keep repairing our old one as long as it kept working. We finally decided this year it was time to replace our 21 year old HVAC system. We had them out to give us a quote, they sent us 4 really good ones. After we chose our quote, we got scheduled in less than a week! They came today and did the install and they were great. They answered any questions we had and showed us all the systems and how the new thermostats work. Cool Kids is the only company well use for our HVAC and now that they do plumbing, well use them for that too!

We had a gas leak in our furnace, and he was able to come out the same day. When he arrived, he checked everything out and realized it was just a loose pipe fitting. He tightened it up for us and made sure everything was running ok. He didn't even charge for us for tightening up the pipe fitting or coming out If you need someone honest and reliable, he's your guy.

Excellent service. Had some plumbing work done due to a clog that was further down from our kitchen drain. Ricky showed us before and after video of our plumbing after using a water treatment that made them look brand new. What a super nice guy too. We decided to use them again after excellent AC repairs. Ricky did a great job. I called him with my problem at 11 am today and he contacted me within a half hour. I explained the problem and he set an appointment for 2 pm. He arrived at 1:59 and proceeded to fix the problem in 15 minutes. I couldnt be more satisfied and will certainly call him back when my next problem arises.

Had an unexpected power outrage that caused our AC to shut fail. Was not cooling, called "CoolKids" they promptly arrived as promised and quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem. Our AC was working again the same day. Technician performed an inspection and verified normal operation. Very efficient and professional, highly recommended their services.

My A/C gave out overnight and I called around looking for heating/cooling companies to fix it. Cool Kids was the only one that said they could come same-day. Not only did they come quickly, but they found the problem and repaired it about 5 minutes and didnt try to up-sell me. Quick, honest and professional. 10/10 will call them again if I ever need to.

Company came as a recommendation and I am glad I called. JJ came out the next morning to look at my system, had a proposal in my inbox within the hour, and his guys were out to do the work the very next day. The crew was very professional, polite, informative, and got the work done in a timely manner. I have dealt with 4 different companies in the 6 years I have owned my home and they all have been hard to get ahold of and even harder to get anything set up with them, Cool Kids was the easiest company I have the pleasure of doing business with. Cool Kids was fantastic to work with today. He came out same day and was super easy to schedule all via text. Originally scheduled to be here at 4pm and texted ahead of time and asked if he could come 30 minutes early so that was a great start! Our downstairs AC stopped blowing cold and once he took some readings of the coolant and saw the construction work he knew exactly what happened.
It turns out that our contractors replacing siding to our house accidentally put a nail through our copper refrigerant line going up in the wall to the attic. He was super easy to work with and explained everything. He stayed out and worked with the contractor get into the right spot and found & fixed the hole, and refilled the unit. He also went super above and beyond to fix/improve our other hvac for upstairs while he was here too and was super easy to work with and even did the invoice for the work in two parts since the contractors are covering the accident piece. Definitely save this guy's info for any hvac work you need done

We've been using Cool Kids for a while now to help keep our dinosaur A/C unit working with minor repairs and maintenance. As a new homeowner in Texas, having the AC in good condition was a high priority. I saw the Cool Kids AC & Heat truck driving up AW Grimes and liked the logo and snapped a picture. I later looked up reviews and everything looked good. When I wanted my AC looked at to assess and service, I reached out to Cool Kids. JJ responded promptly and was extremely flexible.
He was very transparent with everything he was looking at / doing and options of services. He even taught us how to do our own maintenance on the outside unit! Everything was reasonably priced considering all that was done. Definitely have this number saved as a contact and will be the first call if my AC is acting up! We just bought a new house, and had a nye party with our family and friends. Hours before midnight the ac quit working. which with so many people made things start to feel pretty uncomfortable. JJ the owner of cool kids basically dropped whatever he was doing and was able to get our system diagnosed and provide a temporary fix to have cooling for the coming days while we waited for a part to be available after the holiday.
I am extremely grateful and impressed with his willingness to make such a service call, and his wealth of knowledge about his craft. All that aside, I would have gladly paid top dollar but JJ's pricing was super reasonable. You can't go wrong with this man and his company for anything you need related to ac /hvac repairs.
