I attempted to utilize a different company who was rude and gave me the run around. They told me they could not come out until Monday. I called Bodiene Scott. Right away, I got a call back from Luis. He was so helpful and understanding. Assured me someone would be out same day. The tech, Steve, called and informed me he was on his way and was accurate with his arrival time.

He was great! He did a thorough job and explained to us what happened. There was no hidden cost. The service and repair was very affordable. I will definitely be calling them for my service needs in the future and highly recommend them.

Dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare. The workers that have come out to do the work on the plumbing side are amazing. The office staff you have to deal with however are straight up disrespectful and horrible. I'm amazed they would employ people like this. Due to the office staff I would not recommend this company to anyone. I hope their plumbers doing the jobs get paid well for having to deal w such horrible office staff.

We contracted with Bodine-scott to install a condenser billed at a rate $125/hr, they estimated an 8hr job. The tech arrived and quickly replaced the unit, I had to provide the flushing products as he did not have any with home nor any nitrogen. He attempted to flush the unit from the outside which did not work and was ready to start it up. I did not hear nor see a vacuum pump so I asked what was the vacuum reading he achieved, at that point he installed the vacuum pump and could not get below 950, moreover the readings kept fluctuating, indicating a leak.

He did not flush the line set correctly, did not pressure and leak test the line set nor did he vacuum the system. If I had not intervened in time and knew about AC service, my brand new condenser would have been ruined within weeks. They sent another tech to finish the job. Moreover they billed me for 14hrs, when the tech was on the job less than 6 hrs, I contacted them and complained, they adjusted the hours and billing accordingly and I paid it promptly. Now they do not want to WARRANTY their work!

We got three quotes and they were competitive to replace our very old, non balanced and "squirrel damaged" ducts. Came up with a plan, load schedule and calculations to do ducts right, returns right and add insulation to code. They said they would be out first thing Monday and they were. Said they would be here every day at 8 and they were. Said they would be done by Thursday and they were.

It's nice to have a contractor do what they say and finish job promptly. When we reviewed the work: was done per the quote with no shortcuts, using the quality materials they said they were going to use. The technicians were professional and respectful and they cleaned up after themselves each day! Would use them again.

Ryan came out to check a/c system out. It turned out my thermostat was bad. He made sure AC cooled down to proper temperature. Then he put on heater to make sure everything was good to go. Wonderful experience! My home is only 4 years old so when I found out it wasn't heating and my thermostat wasn't holding a charge I freaked out. I called them first thing in the morning and they were here before my scheduled appointment. The tech was very professional. When he listened to my issue he seemed to already know what was going on.moments later my heat, ac, and thermostat are up and running. I'm so thankful the part I needed was still under warranty. Next I'll be looking into their service plan to keep things running smooth!

As a business owner it really takes a lot for us to submit a review specially a no star review but! it has been in the 40'a and lower 50's temperature inside our home and yesterday we slept with the lower 30's. All we get is one person blaming the other and not fixing the problem, we need our heater on. We cannot believe they told us it was the thermostat and they came in with the wrong kind then they never came back and it is 64 degree inside. It is going on a year. They were quick to take the money. We give them a zero.

In April 2021 we got a new unit installed. The salesman that sold us the unit ended up selling a unit that would not work with our current thermostat. The installers literally through our old unit around the attic to the point where they broke our Internet cords. I work from home, on a computer, so internet is very much so needed. The installers would not go in the attic and see if they noticed any cords were damaged so my husband had to go into the attic and ended up falling through the roof because of all the debris and stuff the installers had thrown around.

I understand that this is not a clean job but throwing our old unit around our attic and all of their trash is a bit ridiculous. We had settled out our bill with them and told them we would not be paying for the drywall repair because we shouldn't have been in the attic seeing as the cord was cut by the installers throwing the old unit on the courts.

It is currently 34° outside and I just went to turn on our heat and no heat is coming out. I just called to make an appointment for tomorrow I was told that they cannot service my house because there's a $700 balance on my account. The balance on my account is due to the drywall repair that I had to pay. I am very disappointed in this company.

When you pay $7400 for a brand new unit you would expect it to one work with your thermostat and to cool your house and three heat your house. I am hoping we can get on the phone and make this right but all I got was the runaround back in April.

Had a technician come out twice to put refrigerant in a unit due to a leak. The first time they charged me per pound at 65 dollars. Put 7 pounds for $460. Agreed upon no problem. A few weeks later needed just a few pounds to get through another weekend before a scheduled repair with a separate company. And once the tech gets there I'm told a service fee that I didn't have the first time around and wasn't disclosed to me when scheduling is tacked on to the bill of an additional $129. Probably because it was a smaller job. But no one ever told me or I would have just shopped around or ended up waiting out the weekend.

I gave them a 5 star review 3 years ago when they were out here for a plumbing emergency and I would like to give them 6 for thier current service call. I wish I could remember the names of the two young men who came out to fix my busted pipe yesterday (11.1) but they were prompt, thorough, polite, professional and all around I couldn't have asked for a better resolution to a not so pleasant situation.

Critical: Quality I've been in my house a year and some months and I've called them out 3 times and they will be out later today Oct 6th for the same issue i had last time. I bought a brand new house to not have these issues in year ONE. It's getting frustrating that they can't seem to resolve the problem.

From the first call that I made to this company to the follow up AFTER my unit was installed, I was impressed by the professionalism and "above and beyond" attitude everyone has shown. The sales (?) Tech was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the different options available to me. Scheduling was quick and within a few days of accepting the proposal, I had an appointment that worked for my schedule.

The installation team was prompt and respectful of my home and tried to work in my requests for wore routing and time constraints. They did everything they said they would do and even cleaned up after themselves. The same sales tech followed up the same day and again about a week later. Best. Service. Ever.

Thomas Martinez is a stand-up repair man. He was quick (same day), and he provided rapid and accurate diagnosis of the problem and meticulously worked to remedy our AC all the while keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process. We have had plenty of experience with other companies trying to gouge us on the pricing but he was very transparent throughout the repairs making sure to run every charge by us with clarity and patience.

We ended up with a low cost repair and Brenda took very good care of us during scheduling and also as we wrapped up the payment details. This company also honors military with a discount for active duty personnel! We are going to be life long customers and have already planned to call them for pre summer maintenance of our AC next year. Highly, highly recommend these guys!

They were very quick to schedule our services. Tech showed up in the window giving and called when headed to location. Both techs were very well informed and got our mini split ac unit installed with no problems. Even did multiple double checks to make sure everything was working properly before leaving. Bodine-Scott originally installed my A/C unit and have been consistent in their services. We had a slight mix up over the past week on the replacement of parts, but the technicians; Tony, Gilbert, and Juan, along with Betty (dispatching) were able to get our home cool and comfortable again while remaining respectful of my schedule. Google only allows you to rate at 5 stars but I would give these guys a 10 if possible. Thank you!

Bodine Scott installed 2 new Carrier units at my new home in Rockport which we moved into in March 2015. One unit stopped cooling in the hot summer of 2018, this was due to a 50% loss of coolant. I paid Bodine Scott to recharge the system. This worked for a short time but the problem persisted shortly thereafter. The system was then diagnosed as a coolant leak in the evaporator coil and Bodine Scott replaced the coil.

This new Carrier coil had a manufacturer defect and this defect caused this unit to drain the condensation onto my hardwood floors, ruining a large area of flooring. Bodine Scott then again replaced the evaporator coil. This coil still works today. Bodine Scott came to my home 8 times to get this right and even sent a flooring man to my home. They promised to fix my flooring on several occasions and failed to even follow through.

I then sued Bodine Scott in small claims court in Aransas County and the Justice of the Peace found that I should be compensated for the water damage to my home. Bodine Scott refuses to pay. My floors are still in disrepair. I personally will never use Bodine Scott again or the defective Carrier product that damaged my home. Christopher Mundahl is the Bodine Scott representative who failed to follow through after promising to repair my home damage.

It's never a good time when your A/C dies down here, and it can't get replaced soon enough. Our A/C went pining for the fjords on a Thursday, and the technician called time of death that afternoon. Friday morning Bodine-Scott's project manager came over for a look, and before lunchtime he sent us a replacement proposal. I was hoping they could start right away, but the earliest they could manage was Monday. Spent a miserable, sweaty weekend waiting, but true to their word they showed up first thing Monday. And by close of business the new system -- condenser, air handler, all connections and a fancy new thermostat -- was up and running. Consider us cool and satisfied.

ZERO STARS! READ ALL THEIR ONE STAR REVIEWS! These charlatans totally botched a $14,000 install that voided my warranty! All of their promises were nothing more than lies. They claimed to be certified by the manufacturer to install my unit. In fact, they only had one person who was certified. The week after my installation, he quit the company, leaving me without anyone who knew how to repair my unit.

I hired a professional energy auditor to review their installation. He told me everything about it was wrong. They just threw down a prefabricated pad on top of my old pad and leveled it with wood blocks! WOOD BLOCKS! The unit was oversized. The ductwork was undersized. My air return box was half the size of what it needed to be. The unit was so starved for air it started sucking in humid air from the outside, through my walls, through my addict and around door frames.

My home was quickly invaded by mold. The back wall of my den, which was paneling, was totally warped and ruined by the humid air. That cost me thousands of dollars to get it repaired! My hall closet, which is my addict access, was totally overtaken by black mold. The unit sucks hot humid air out of my attic and sweats constantly on the indoor unit. Bodine Scott sent out their "best" tech to look at my unit.

He stayed at my house for 10 hours scratching his head, having no idea what he was looking at. They charged me over $500.00 and told me I needed a new part. They said they would order the part and get back to me. THREE MONTHS went by and nobody ever called me! After multiple complaints. Their "best tech" returned to replace the part. Only, he did not replace the part.

I had marked it with my initials. He pretended to replace it, said it had been repaired and immediately left. No testing whatsoever to ensure the unit was working correctly. After complaining again. Do you think they apologized to me? No, they told me they had nobody who knew how to repair the unit and they wouldn't be coming out to my home anymore. These people are shysters.

I just want to thank Quinton and his supervisor for saving us from blistering heat today. They got here quickly and fixed the problem in just minutes with a new capacitor. Our new system does not keep it 20 degrees cooler from outside. EVER. The owners son Chris never showed up or called the day he was supposed to (or any day after for that matter!). After getting the builder Steve Homes involved, the engineer Bruce came out and preformed a test on the unit and he was supposed to call with his test results by last Thursday, no call received.

We have a brand new unit and they DONT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! They only seem to care about "big" jobs. They put in the worst system imaginable. Wrong size duct work for the unit. Airflow is off throughout the house. Terrible company. Do not use them. Please do your research and use anyone else. Also research which company your builder used so you aren't stuck with dealing with them like we are! Private message me for more information on them. I kept record of all visits with multiple pics for proof our ac does not work.

FYI, my little brother Gabriel Villarreal was ran off of the road on Friday Morning at about 11:30 AM 9/14/2018 Located Kostoryz going towards Staples. His vehicle was not because he drove off the road and did a bad curb check. When he called they stated that the individual in charge would call him back on Monday. When he was contacted they basically told him because there vehicle did not come in contact with his vehicle they were not responsible for anything.

Please share this with friends and family. Because this could happen to you and or your loved ones, lucky for him he was not harmed in this cause but the next person my not be so lucky.

Mine and my husband's AC in our home went out sometime around 12am last Sunday, I called and left a voicemail. I had explained all of my health issues and they called me back and had a man named Able come over to get the AC unit running. Able did get the AC unit and he was in and out of out home our home in 10minutes. I was hesitant to call them back because of the service the Able provided.

Low and behold the AC unit started acting up again. I called back and spoke with Brittany and she advised me to shut the AC unit off completely and she would send someone over first thing in the next morning. Sure enough first thing in the morning I received a Text from Thomas (Tommy) and he fixed the AC unit, he didn't rush and he actually took pipes apart to clean them very well.

He took the time to explain to my husband and I what he had to do and if we asked him to show us what he was talking about, he didn't hesitate. My husband and I are aware that our AC unit still needs some more work on it done. We have already scheduled and we pray that Mr. Tommy will be the one to finish the rest of the work needed. Not only my husband and liked the way Mr. Tommy did his job on Monday only my in laws did as well and they live across the street caddy corner and even stopped to check on how the AC unit repair was coming a long and they too were very impressed with Mr. Tommy's knowledge. Bodine-Scott we applaud you for having this young man Mr. Tommy working for you guys!

DO NOT USE THEM! They are a Scam! Read till the end! Our home AC broke early Saturday morning, we called Bodine-Scott that as soon as we woke up and they got someone to come to the house that day. A guy comes to the house to check what's wrong with our AC and he said our motor broke and he would just need to call to get a part, but should be in on Monday. Monday came, we called Bodine-Scott and they said they have the part and someone can come to the house noon on Tuesday. (Mind you, I have a full time job and 2 indoor dogs) Tuesday came and I had requested to be half day at work since Bodine-Scott said they will be there at the house at noon.

I rush home to be there by noon, got home at 11am and waited.6pm no one is there so I called Bodine-Scott and told them no one came, the lady on the phone said that the technician was backed up so he will come to the house Wednesday noon. Again, I had to request half day at work. Wednesday arrived, came home at 11am from work and waited.waited.waited.

I called at 4pm and I asked if someone is still coming, the lady on the phone (Melissa) said "the technician is backed up, but he will be there." Ok, so I gave the tech sometime. 6pm.8pm. no one! So I'm starting to get really annoyed so I call back again at 9:30pm and I let Melissa have it over the phone. I told her that they are not doing good business because I had to request time off from work and I'm losing money and yet they can't tell me an ETA?

So I told her I know exactly how you run your business. They go to peoples houses/business where they can get more money. My AC was under warranty so I only had to pay $170 so they put my house on the bottom of the list. So I said if you don't get someone to the house by tonight (Wednesday) I will go to the local Chanel news station and complain how you run your business. DING!

She said she will get someone to the house in less than 1 hour. And to my surprise, someone arrived in 1 hour to fix the AC. Don't forget we live in Texas so the House was HOT, it was even hotter than the temperature from the outside! Thank goodness the AC was fixed, but NEVER again will use this company.

Not recommended gave 1 star ratting be cause that is owes yelp allows Installed and Carrier AC unit on June 6,2017. My old unit did a better job of cooling house. MY neighbor said unit when it comes on at night would wake them. I have called several times complaining at loud noise from unit. Unit would run all day come to find out that compressor is overheating and shutting down and only interior fan is running. happened all summer house would be up to 81 degrees inside.

I made recording of ac running while making noise the tech said, "Sound like a normal unit to me". Another Tech said the problem was with the Nest Thermostat that was in September of last year took nest off-line seemed to work ok but hot part of summer was over. Friday of last week same problem started late afternoon temp climbed to 83 degrees. Called another AC contractor to come out to look at, Tech said "Your compressor is not working it is to hot to touch so it has turned itself off because of over heating.

Your compressor is bad the capacitor is good, call Bodine Scott and tell them what I said". called them to day after much heated discussion the will send some one out today to look at.

(Corpus Christi) My parents were made to wait two weeks for a part to repair the AC. An AC company's entire job centers around having the tools needed to repair these systems. This is unacceptable in every way. They were also promised a call back numerous times over the two weeks that never came. Terrible, unreliable service, poor follow-through, not to mention ridiculous disrespect for the elderly. BS has lost these longtime customers.

Asked them to inspect and service two condos that we were selling. They charged us $460 ffor what was inspection and service, which included cleaning the coils, checking the freon, etc. We found out that the $460 was for inspection only. I recommend that you find another ac company to use.

I've been meaning to write a review on this company for a while. Our AC broke last year, and right before the July 4th weekend of course. This was a company we had called based on their ads (". we'll fix it day or night but never charge overtime"), to come out and save us from the sweltering, oppressive corpus heat. So a guy actually did come out, tried to sell us a brand new unit and promised to get back to us with a quote.

He never did. Never called us again. Never followed up. Period. So that was our experience with bodine- scott. They didn't fix anything, we never heard from them again. In my opinion they suck. Completely unreliable. The person who actually saved us, did a fabulous job, was honest, reliable and hard working, was Red from Red's Air Conditioning. Great crew, in the business for a long time, and accountable for their work and to their customers. Probably why they have 5 stars online.

Highway robbers they wanted 315.00 to tape back up the plenum that came loose 1 year and 4 months after they installed it not to mention having to pay 500 hundred dollars for a new coil that failed 1yr and 3 months after install. The re taping of the plenum is a ten minute job. I asked the technician why so expensive he said labor and material. I went and bought a roll of aluminum tape for ten dollars I will do the job myself and never give this company a penny. Forgot to mention that when my coil failed they came out and after 5 minutes determined that I had a leak somewhere and that they would have to charge me another 115.00 on top of the 85.00 service call to go in the attic to look for the leak. Got that straightened out with his boss but I wonder how many people have paid that.

ZERO STARS. I don't like posting bad reviews because they can sometimes be unfair. However, as a business owner I would want to know what kind of company I was dealing with. We consulted this company for commercial installation. They sent a guy out to take measurements etc, who said he'd call us with an estimate as soon as possible. Over a month later (after ignoring my emails asking for an update & not once returning any of our calls), he emailed a RIDICULOUS estimate. 3 times the appropriate cost. Detailing nothing except a laundry list of associated installation costs NOT included in the price.

Our impression is that this man didn't return our calls or emails because he didn't have a clue what he was doing. I have serious doubts that he was consulting with anyone to come up with this estimate. I think he pulled a number out of his ass. I am inclined to believe a previous reviewer's comments stating that the person he dealt with told him the business owner was no longer involved and didn't seem to care about the business.

So think twice before hiring these folks. The estimate we were given was so ridiculous, you can't help but wonder how many people may have been taken advantage of by these folks.

The commercials are BS. If you call outside of their working hours, you only get the answering service. The technician, Julio, was great. What I had a problem with was the fact that the problem was figured out before 2:00 PM, but I didn't hear back from the salesman, like I was supposed to, until after 5:00 and then was told that they'd have to check it out tomorrow when in the office with the computer.

I don't know that it was the salesman's fault, he said he just got the msg., but whatever the case the ball was dropped. I knew it would probably be tomorrow before it could be fixed but, now I know it will be at least ANOTHER NIGHT WITH NO AC IN SO TX! Calling other companies for quotes now.
