Jon did a great job! Courteous, personable helpful, knowledgeable, and followed up with us. Had to wait a day for parts, he came the following day, after managing the parts purchase, and finished quickly. It was a good experience, the house was 90 inside, and his attitude was very welcome during a frustrating period. Thanks again Jon, it was very much appreciated.

Can't say enough about Jon, and Best, we have been using them for many years, without any difficulties. Ask about their maintenance plan as well as the emergency call out plan!

Brandon Glover is the tech who came to inspect my older A/C heating unit. His name wasn't listed among your employees. I hope you add his name so other customers can give him a wonderful review like I'm going to. Brandon took his time to look over my unit inside and out. He was personable, knowledgeable and very professional. This is only my second time dealing with Best Home but both times your employees treated me with respect and listened to what I had to say.

They presented me with the facts and options. I never felt pushed into anything beyond my needs. I felt comfortable making a decision that was best for my situation. Thank you for putting your customers first.

James and everyone at Best Home Services were amazing! We called first thing in the morning because of a water heater issue. James arrived only a couple of hours later. He was thorough, professional and great to work with. He was at our house most of the day, working to fix our issues. I highly recommend Best Home Services and James! Jay was punctual and courteous. When he determined we needed a new hot water heater he provided us with options and gave my husband and I the time to make the decision. Alex was amazing in every way. He showed up two hours earlier than anticipated, which is extremely welcomed when you have not had any hot water for 24 hours! He was very nice and professional. The thing I appreciated more than anything was the fact they sent me a text telling me who was going to be coming to my home with a picture! My husband is on the road 7 months out of the year so this was extremely comforting to me. Alex was awesome!

I am satisfied with the work that was done and their plumber Rob, was excellent. The pricing on the new garbage disposal however was nothing short of predatory.150% more than what I would have paid if I had purchased the unit myself at Home Depot. Stephen Anderson installed track lighting behind our sofa to illuminate a 16 x 20 foot wall mural. He added a dimmer switch and made it all so it was hidden by the sofa except for the light illuminating the mural. He worked most of the day and cleaned up neatly afterward. He has a winning personality to boot. What a guy. Thank you Best Home Services!

Reed Mace ran a new 30A circuit from the electrical panel to our master bedroom. The work was done professionally and Best services dispatched a technician on the same day. Reed was courteous and worked hard to complete the installation. The quoted price was the same price that I was charged at the end of the project. The project turned out to be complex because of the nature of the location of the attic and the space between the exterior wall and the drywall.

To Reed's credit, he stuck with the job despite having to replenish his supplies with products from the warehouse. At the end of the day, we were very satisfied with both Reed's attention to detail as well as his polite/professional demeanor. Thank you Best Home Services! We used to have major problems with our new treadmill tripping the circuit breaker. Now, we can turn it on without fear of tripping a circuit. It's hard to find good qualified vendors these days that communicate clearly and keep you up to date on your appointments. Highly recommended.

He recognized the last technician from Best Home Services in 2018 did not install an outdoor rated plug! He made notes and I called customer service and I will wait for a reply. Update 1/21/21: we just got another company out (Iron Men Plumbing) to do the same job that we had Best Home Services do last year. They came right away and did the job of clearing our kitchen branch sewer line of a grease clog far better using the auger and inspection camera to confirm condition as opposed to just pushing some grease around with the inspection camera like BHS did.

They also bothered to find and use the clean out on the side of the house like they are supposed to whereas BHS went straight to the roof. FYI companies charge more to go work on the roof so if they go to the roof first they are overcharging you. And Iron Men Plumbing charged me $185 for the work. That is exactly what I told BHS was the actual going rate for these services and they told me I was wrong.

See the original review and company response. BHS charged me over $300 for the exact same job. So in conclusion, use Iron Men Plumbing NOT Best Home Services for your plumbing needs.

Terrible experience! COMPLETE RIP OFF! SLOW SERVICE, DISHONEST TECHS, WRONG DIAGNOSIS, OVERCHARGING, AND SEVERAL WEEKS TO GET REFUND! I had a tub spout which was broken. The diverter (piece which switches water flow from the shower above to the spout below) was lose and not working. The first time someone came out to diagnose the problem, he gave us 3 estimates: $400 for simple "patch" fix, $800 for a more "in depth" fix, and $1200 to remove all parts and place all new parts for a "complete" job.

My gut told me even the $400 was way too much for this simple job, but I wanted it done quick and I asked the guy if he could get it done today, and he said yes so I agreed to the $400 and paid him. He unscrewed the tub spout and said he needs to order parts and then disappeared. I gave them some time and called the company WEEKS later and they told me they guy quit and they have no notes on my job.

The parts were never ordered and they don't know what needs to be ordered. Ok. So a second guy comes to look at the tub spout again. He says he will let us know what needs to be done and disappears. I called the company again and ask them what needs to be done and are the parts ordered? Again they are clueless and tell me "we'll have someone come out". Ok.

Maybe 3rd time will work, so I agree. The guy who came the second time comes again (this is the third visit from the company), and he says we need a "trim kit" and for us to go to Home Depot and get one and he can install it. Since I had no idea what that meant I went to Home Depot and inquired. I explained the problem to a very helpful Home Depot employee and he advised we don't need a whole trim kit(shower head, handle and spout); we just need to manually remove (screw off) the old tub spout and attach manually (screw in) a new tub spout.

Since the finish of the generic tub spouts was not matching our shower, we ordered a new tub spout for $50, got it in a week, and screwed it in ourselves. THE ENTIRE JOB TOOK 2 MINUTES MAX, was able to be correctly diagnosed by a Home Depot employee(who never even physically saw our tub), and fixed by me, (a female who knows NOTHING about plumbing and with NO TOOLS).

I understand they are a "professional" company and I would have even paid them, up to $250 for the simple job as I know it takes time for them to come out, see it, diagnose and fix it. BUT TRYING TO CHARGE $400-$1200 FOR A SIMPLE SCREW OFF AND SCREW IN JOB IS ABSOLUTELY DELIBERATE AND DISHONEST! I had to call several times over 2-3 weeks, was never able to speak to a manager or supervisor, only customer service, and FINALLY got a refund!

So I hired Best Home AC to replace the main AC to my home on November 1st after my existing system basically died on Halloween. I decided to spend on the significantly expensive 16 SEER system from Carrier. Great unit, NOT great service. First of all, even though they installed the unit in one day, it took Best Home three days to get the AC actually working. That's right, 3 days without AC (4 if you count the day my old system stopped working)!

After they finally got it running, I sent them a punch list of items to resolve. So today is February 11th - 3.5 months later - and the list is still not resolved! Currently, when the fan is going full speed, the ceiling vibrates (the AHU is in the attic) and rattles my chandelier. The worst thing is they installed a new AHU without a slot for the air filter even though they promised to maintain all the functionality of my previous system. Therefore, the only way I can keep my home HVAC filtered is to go around the house with a ladder and install a filter at 5 different return grilles in my 10' ceilings throughout my home.

Every time I have contacted them, they say someone will call me and I don't hear back. They will eventually send a tech - I have seen at least 6 different techs - to "address" an item And leave without resolution. Long story short - buyer beware. Do not make final payment until all items are resolved and do NOT sign up for their financing plan since they get paid everything up front and you are left owing a separate credit card company for the full amount with no recourse.

Our half bathroom toilet flooded and Best home services came out right away. The initial recommendation was a clean only which was $400, a clean and a root treatment which was $800, or both of the above plus check with a camera to see what was wrong which was $1200. The technician specifically told me don't worry about the camera option because he pulled a bunch of roots out and now the line is clear and just do the root treatment which was good for a year.

I asked the tech, "if there are roots in the line doesn't that mean that the pipe is broken?" His answer was no that roots can grow through fittings. Hhhhmmm crazy you may think right. we did too but took his word and paid the $800. A week goes by and toilet floods again. Same tech comes out and checks the line and says it's clear and doesn't know what's wrong (no charge).

Week later on Christmas Day toilet over flows again. This time they want $120 non refundable for a holiday call out. Which I ask why am I being charged $120 when it's the same problem that should've been fixed the first time around. But the scheduling people said they don't have the authority to wave the fee and all supervisors are on vacation for the holiday.

Next day we call again. Same tech now comes out to run a camera and says oh the pipe is broken. Charges us $800 yet again to clear and leaves us with a $9000 estimate to run a new line which is only 6' long. We make the appointment for three or four days out in hopes to get other quotes. Only way to hold the appointment was to take a refundable down payment of $4000.

Guess what, we found another company to do the work for $2000. Not only that but other company's were only charging $2000-$3500. So no brainer we will cancel the appointment with best home services. The appointment was for a Monday and we canceled on the Saturday prior. Here's the catch, the only people who answer the phone don't have the authority to refund the charges.

Only their supervisors do. So an email was sent out and we were told someone would contact us within 48hrs. 72 hours later no one has reached out and I call back. Still no available supervisor to talk to over the phone and now another message was sent out for someone to contact me within 24hrs. No that's ok. I'm disputing the charges and getting new cards. IF I COULD GIVE THESE PEOPLE NO STARS AS A RATING I ABSOLUTELY WOULD!

I really thought this company was going to be great. they fought to be able to provide us with a new AC unit. The first price they gave us was outrageous, we obtained some quotes from other companies and Best Home Services we able to then beat those prices. We signed a contract and the guys installed it within a few days of meeting the sales rep. That being said.

The sales rep told us we could have a new thermostat (of our choosing) put in instead of the factory one. The installers came out and were scared to put it in, so they said I would have to call and have it installed seperately. I called made an appointment- the installers never showed up. called made a second appointment- the installers didnt show up AGAIN.

I made a 3rd appointment for between 4-6pm, the installers showed up to my home when no one was there at 11am! Today was supposed to be my 4th appointment time, I was reassured over and over they would be here today between 11am - 1pm. Its 1:02pm and after calling twice there's still NO ONE here! Talk about frustrating. Also, upon initial installament they ripped out some drywall to 'fit' the new unit and then didnt do anything to fix the drywall and wood they removed. Ive left messages to have managers call me back, maybe this Yelp review will inspire them to correct these issues before I decide to get my money back with my credit card company.

I had a clogged toilet emergency and they came out right away. The Technician was super friendly and did a great job! He got it cleared in 10 mins! I would definitely use this company again!

Best Home Services is the best! I called this morning and an electrician came out same day. I am in the process of selling my house and wanted to make sure all up to code. I ended up needing two gfi plugs and a new dimmer. Daniel Johnson went around my entire home to see what may not pass inspection. He did find 1 small thing and corrected for us.

He went above and beyond and you can tell that he loves his job and proud of the company he works for. HIRE THIS COMPANY and ask for Daniel, you will not regret it! I am not related to anyone at this company nor did they give me anything free, just thought I should state that!

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD! DO NCalled these guys to drill and feed an electric line through the side of my house. They quoted me for an outside outlet over 2K. They charged me $132 for a drilled hole to fish through the electric cord. They even wanted $19 just for a estimate of work! Not happy with work, so we called to speak with the manager and we still have not heard back from them.

They obviously do not care about new customers or doing the right thing. It's a shame because I rather support mom and pop shops than chain stores. Do not use! New update: I apologize for not getting back in a timely manner. I talked to the new management at Best Home Services and they explained why the service wasn't up to par. I understood and accepted the apology. Additionally they refunded my money and I think that they have solidified their electrical department with an emphasis on customer service.

These things happen and very few companies reach out in order to get customer feedback. For example:try getting your cable company to ask your feedback on how your internet is working. I'm supposed to get 300mbps and never come close. Management from my cable provider never contact me! I will continue to utilize Best Home Services. I know that the service I receive will be excellent or the company will make it right.

Best came out promptly and profienctly corrected the issue on my AC. Prices were extremely fair, the technician who came out, Drew, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful (he has corny jokes though) Definitely will have repeat business
