We cannot express how amazing this company has been. Ryan, Keith, Jake and team are so nice, responsive and did an outstanding job installing split AC's in our townhouse. We had called another company but got the feeling our job was too difficult. I think AIr Extreme's price was great, but you cannot put a price tag on outstanding customer service. Thanks Ryan and Keith!

Loved my experience with Airextreme! They were efficient, communicative, and pleasant to work with. The installation itself went smoothly and they were able to give me great advice throughout the whole process. I would definitely highly recommend!

These guys are awesome! Super professional and easy to talk to. After consulting with Ryan for the best possible air conditioning options I went with the split Mitsubishi units. Their prices and service are by far the best on the island. If I end up adding more split AC units to my house I will definitely be a returning customer!

We are very happy with AireXtreme. Over the years they have installed four split A/Cs for us (two this month), and they always do a great job. Their quote was reasonable and issued quickly. The installation is aesthetically clean - no tubes, electrical lines, or anything visible - all installed on the other side of the wall. The installers were prompt, cleaned up after themselves well, and explained the care and maintenance of each unit.

The electricians they work with are extremely professional too, and we would not hesitate to contact them for other electrical work we may need. We highly recommend AireXtreme.

Wanted to get a jump start on the summer heat, so decided to contact several air conditioning companies for quotes on a split air system in my home. Decided to contact this company as a cousin had them install her split system a while back and she had no complaints. I called on a Friday afternoon and spoke to Ryan who apparently is the owner. I asked for the soonest available time that he would be able to come out to my home.

As he also lived in Mililani Mauka, he responded that he would be able to make it out to my home on Sunday at 3:00pm. I adjusted my weekend schedule to allow for this. 3:00, Sunday afternoon arrives and I'm anxious for him to show up. 3:30 arrives, and I'm still waiting. 4:00, and I'm waiting for a possible phone call from Ryan giving me a reason as to why he hasn't arrived yet. 4:30 arrives and nothing! BAD BUSINESS!

I should have headed the previous review where he was also a NO SHOW! If you want business, be professional about and show up and don't mess around with people's schedule! I guess the reviews say it all. Only 3 stars! Sorry, but I'll stick with the 4.5-5 star ratings!

Poor service, no one answers call for service, I will never do business with this company again. I purchased several split units and have had problems with it. They would never answer for assistance with my units.

What is wrong with this company? I emailed this and last year and also left messages on their voicemail this and last year and no response. Nothing. NADA! I guess business is so good that you don't need to return calls or emails.

I have been a costumer for several years. They always provided decent service. This time, March/April 2015 I called them 6 times and left messages, explaining the problem.not once did I get a call back (and yes, I left my call back number every time!). I finally called a different company, they called back the same day, came out 2 days later and fixed 3 of our split air systems. I will never use Airextreme again, apparently they don't value their customers!

On Thursday I came home to find my Fujitsu a/c wasn't working all day. I spent the next two hours trying to fix it myself with the help of Google. Friday I called the company that installed my a/c but they weren't able to come out to look at my unit unil the 15th! I told them that it was too long to wait because it was June and it was hella hot at my house.

I desperately called around to everyone else I could find a number for and multiple places didn't answer (I didn't bother leaving a message) and one place told me they only do repairs on units they have installed. Finally I spoke to Dan, the technican at AireXtreme and he was very friendly. He was on a roof at the time of my initial call but called me back and was able to stop by the same day!

I gave him directions and he was able to switch out the faulty part right then and there! I am so happy that he was able to fix my ac the same day and I believe the price I paid was also reasonable. Note: If you didn't actually listen the whole voicemail message on main number you wouldn't have known to call Dan directly if you are having a repair request.

I had to listen to it twice, the first time I hung up because I didn't want to leave a message. I'm not sure if maybe on their website they should put something down about calling the tech directly to schedule a repair appointment.

I have no complaints about Air Extreme either, but I think it's because Ryan forgot to show up for the appointment he scheduled to give me an estimate. Pathetic.

I have no complaints about AireXtreme. Working with Ryan was so easy. He worked around our schedule and had our split a/c system up and running in a few hours. Turns out they do work with my go-to electric company, so it just reassured me in choosing AireXtreme. The guys that did the actual installation were extremely professional and did an amazing job.

We provided exterior paint and they actually painted the tubing (and did a perfect job) and anything else that was on the exterior so that it wouldn't stand out. Kinda important for the aesthetic appeal as well as.well, we never sought approval from our HOA so hoping they just don't notice. We didn't know where exactly anything was going to be installed so we weren't sure what we needed to move around, but they ended up doing it for us.

I had actually dumped all the clothes into our closet to get it out of the way and it turns out that's where they needed to go and they cleared everything out neatly. I feel kinda bad because it was a big mess :x Again I want to stress the professionalism, promptness, affordability and ease of working with this company. Ryan's literally the only person to ever get back to me about this and from what I've been told by friends and family with split a/c systems, we got an amazing deal. I'm now sitting pretty in my uninsulated home in Ewa Beach with my a/c set to 76 and I'm still under the covers. Also, my ceiling fan is louder than the a/c. Even the condensers are silent. I wasn't sure anything was even on, but it's nice and cold in here.

I requested quotes from three air conditioner companies (installers) and AireXtreme/Ryan Tamanaha was by far the best value. Specifically, Ryan Tamanaha (the owner) immediately returned all my phone calls, and he came to my home for an inspection and to develop a proposal. He had numerous ideas for improving the quality of the installation which I accepted.

Although his quote was not the lowest nor the highest, his service, ideas and especially the efficiency of his crew and electricians were worth the price he quoted. He arrived on a Monday morning with his crew of six and two electricians as scheduled and was finished installing three Mitsubishi air conditioners in a day and a half. One of the great ideas was to put the wires and drainage line for the kitchen unit concealed in the double wall by removing the dry wall in the adjoining room.

His drywall repair subcontractor was on my door step Tuesday morning and by noon I could not tell that a portion of the wall had been removed. Ryan followed up with an invoice that had the information that we needed to claim the Hawaii Energy Rebate (credit).

It has been so hot lately that I decided to air condition my home. I knew I wanted a split unit so I started my research. After calling around to many air condition companies with no call backs from anyone, I then asked the contractor who remodeled my home who he uses and he gave me Ryan Tamanaha's (the owner) number for AireXtreme with a glowing recommendation. Hence, I called Ryan and left a voicemail.

Within hours he called back, and apologized for missing my call (which I thought was a nice of him to do). We made arrangements for a onsite quote per my schedule and within a few days he arrived right on time which showed his professionalism. Although I knew he had a busy day, he spent about 45 minutes patiently answering all my questions and giving options to ensure best cooling for my modest 1100 square ft. home.

We discussed the pros/cons of different configurations and different brands of split units, power consumption, efficiency, and capabilities/limitations for each type of split system/style. He was very patient and professional. He even responded quickly to texts when I had even more questions. In the end I installed a mitsubishi 24,000 btu and a 12,000 btu system for what I thought was a very fair price.

The install crew arrived on time and were very professional and during the install I saw them use quality tools, methods, and hardware to ensure a high quality and durable install. Their installs have a 1 year labor, 5 year parts, and 7 year compressor warranty. So in the end when you combine the fair price and quality installation I felt like I received an awesome value for the money spent. Also, since electric operating cost was a concern to me, the efficiency of running both systems 24 hours a day is so good that I only had to add 2 more solar panels to my existing PV system to ensure I do not get a HECO bill. I highly recommend Ryan and the crew of AireXtreme!

Dan was very negative and irritating when he came over. I tried to play nice but really wanted to smack him in the mouth. He repeatedly informed me how my AC was "junk" and while removing the cover, used excessive force causing the plastic to crack. When confronted about it, he said that it was not his fault because the AC was old. He refused to repair the damage he caused and charged over $200 for cleaning the filter. Do not go with AireXtreme.

4.5 stars. Recently made the investment to install a Mitsubishi split system in our main living room and kitchen. Shopped around and received many free quotes and recommendations. Decided to go with Aire Xtreme due to their sales consultant, Ryan Tamanaha, and of course, their competitive prices. He kept us in the loop at all times and even gave us a nice discount due to the fact that our original Fujitsu choice was suddenly unavailable. We're absolutely enjoying our new Mitsubishi split system and am ready for whatever the hot Hawai'i summers have in store.

The install was timely, efficient, professional and courteous. We will definitely keep them in mind when we decide to install units for the rooms. Tip: Homeowners, be sure to get the permit for $350 extra. Well worth the hassle of attaining on your own and getting after the fact or when you want to sell. Worth the cash and remember, it's the law!
