The residential installation department has an impressive track record and in 2005 was presented with Associated Builders and Contractors' Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction. We have extensive knowledge in high-rise work with buildings like Biscayne Park Condominiums, River Oaks & Strada 315 just to name a few. We also have experience in single family home projects having most recently been the exclusive HVAC contractor for the Portofino family of communities which consisted of over 3,000 single family residences.

I recently had A&P come to repair my air handler. The blower motor was making a strange noise and not pushing air. They were easy to make an appointment with, showed up on time, and did the work professionally. I really like that they sent a text when the technician was on their way to confirm when they would arrive and provide a picture. Prices were fair and easy to understand. I plan to use them again.

Salesperson Jorge had an 8:00 am appointment and never showed up. I had to call him and he was very nonchalant telling me that he was on his way to Aventura. I called the A&P office to complaint about it and I was just told that they contract this work out and there is nothing they could do. Very poor service!

Our A/C was over 12 years old and began having issues and was expensive to operate. We decided to have a new unit installed before summer. After much research we decided that a Daikin Fit would be perfect for our home. I came across A&P air conditioning through Daikin's website. After my first call to A&P explaining what I needed I was contacted by Jorge who came out to our home to make certain that this was in fact a good unit for our needs.
To say the price he quoted us was competitive is an understatement. It was great! I had quotes from contractors installing single stage units which were higher. The following week as scheduled A&P performed the installation. Jose and his partner did a fantastic job and walked me through operation after the install. Jorge showed up to see how the job was progressing and after they had left, Luis came by to follow up.
I had an issue with the condensate drain unrelated to the install which he corrected for me. I strongly recommend reaching out to A&P if you are considering a new A/C unit and go with a Daikin. I believe A&P is probably known more for their commercial and industrial installations. Their portfolio is impressive. Don't hesitate to call them as a homeowner. We bought a new Rheem A/C which cost us more than $2,500 back in May 2012, after 6 months the A/C was not working and when we called A&P they said the warrantee only included a service during regular business hours, so we had to spend the entire weekend with no A/C until Monday. A technician came and put Freon and supposedly fixed it. 5 months latter this happened again, and another technician came and supposedly fixed the leaking. after about 6 months this happened again, and now the 1 year warranty was expired so we did not call them anymore, these people have performed the worst job for us and made us lose so much money. Today in 2015, we still have to get Freon every 6 months because of the bad job A&P Air Conditioning performed in our home. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
